My Disney Side @Home Celebrations

I had a wonderful party with friends and family last month. The celebration was to celebrate my son coming home from overseas with the Navy. When he was overseas he missed Thanksgiving dinner. The navy had a dinner planned for the navy guys but my son had just finished a 36 hour mission and was going on another one in 8 hours, so sleep was in order instead. I told my son we would do Thanksgiving when he got home.

Here is my son overseas.

A week before the party, I was accepted into a  Disney Side @Home Celebrations campaign, so my son's party was the perfect party to show my Disney Side. There was 13 people attending our party so I plenty of people to share the goodies I received. Here is a picture of some of the party supplies I received and the rest is shown on a video I did here http://momknowsbest15.blogspot.com/2014/01/disney-side-home-unboxing-video.html
The guests enjoyed these fun goodies-pictures, calendars, window stickers, and Kits from HP to make photo cards. These HP photo card kits make awesome photo invitations.

At the party we were having traditional Thanksgiving food along with some Mickey Mouse cookies I made. I made the cookies with 3 Disney cookie cutters and a sugar cookie mix. I frosted them to make sandwich cookies.

To seat all the people for dinner, I set up three tables. The first one was for the grown ups, the next for the young adults, and the last for the kids.

Here is my youngest enjoying the cookies we made with Disney cookie cutters.

These are some of the decorations in my party kit. Aren't they the cutest?

My table with the cookies, my boys had fun making these.

Some of the party guests enjoying food and conversation.

Thank you Disney for making my son's welcome home party so much fun!  I know I want to go to Disney World and I bet my guests are dreaming of this too.

"These opinions are my own and I was sent supplies from Disney, HP, and American Tourister to have a party with."
