What To Get A Lego Lover For Christmas

Do you have a Lego lover in your house? I have two boys who love building with Legos. All they ever want for presents is Legos. I have found a great gift idea for the Lego fanatics in your house. This is a gift that they probably don't have and the fun will last beyond Christmas. My boys recently received a monthly subscription to BrickSwag and they love it. What is BrickSwag? It is a box that is filled with Legos and other fun stuff that any Lego fanatic will love. This box is delivered monthly to the recipient and you can choose how many months you want to purchase. My boys received the three month plan and loved their first box. Below is what the box looks like.

It was delivered to my boys though the mail. My boys just love receiving packages, especially ones with Legos. My son could not wait to open in it.

Here is what was inside the box. The box included a t-shirt, a cup, a poster several trading cards, a builders guide, and two packs of Legos.

The first package of Legos contained bricks to build a turkey, perfect for Thanksgiving. The enclosed builder guide, had step by step instructions that were easy for my son to follow. My son was proud of the turkey he built.

The next package of Legos contained a cool variety of bricks. My other son found lots of new pieces that he did not have.  This package came with a card that had a cool contest info on it. The card said to create with the Legos and then submit your creation to the contest's website to be able to win a prize. My son liked the idea of winning a prize and got busy building with his Legos.

Here is what my son built, but he told me not to submit it for the contest as he wanted to build something else. He wanted to build something that used all the pieces.

My boys really enjoyed their BrickSwag box and can't wait for the next box. This is a gift that I recommend for children who love to build with Legos. The price of the club is pretty good too, considering how much Legos cost. Each box will include a t-shirt, lots of Legos, trading cards, a building guide, and a fun surprise ( ours was the cup.) 1. My son loves legos. A subscription program would probably be great for us. Our pieces always get mixed up so it's really hard to build the kits we have after they get taken apart. We need fresh material! :)
