Healthy Spicy Red Pepper Hummus With Victoria's Garden Grown

This post contains sponsored links.

This hummus is made healthier by swapping out the olive oil for a flavorful organic low-calorie  salad dressing that is made with veggies.

I love hummus and can eat a whole bowl in one day. It is made with healthy ingredients and I am dipping veggies into it so what is the problem with eating a whole bowl. The problem is hummus contains a lot of fat. I was shocked when I saw how much fat there is in a whole bowl of hummus. Most recipes call for two or more tablespoons of olive oil along with a quarter cup of tahini, both which are loaded with fat. It may be healthy fats but fat is still fat. I discovered a way to make my hummus without the olive oil, saving me 28 grams of fat per recipe, and it still tastes delicious. My secret is a flavorful organic salad dressing that is made with vegetables and contains no oil. My healthier version of hummus is so flavorful and because it has way less fat, I can eat the whole bowl and not feel one bit guilty.

So let me first tell you about this amazing salad dressing that I discovered. Victoria's Garden Grown is the first dressing to use vegetables as the main ingredient in place of the oil. You won't even miss the oil in this clean-label low-calorie dressing as it is filled with lots of flavor. I love that that this USDA organic dressing is fat-free and has 15-20 calories per serving. So now that salad you eat will actually be healthy instead of loaded with fat from salad dressing. I cringe when I see people eating salad for health and then they put way too much fattening dressing on it as that just takes away from the healthiness. With Victoria's Garden Grown dressing you can indulge and make those salads healthier. These non-GMO, gluten free & vegan dressings are also great for many recipes beyond salads. They add awesome flavor to meats, side dishes and more. The Carrot Ginger adds awesome flavor to my cole slaw that I use when I make fish tacos. My favorite one is the Spicy Red Bell Pepper as it gives my hummus such great flavor.

Now on to that healthy Spicy Red Pepper hummus. This hummus is so simple to make. All you need is a can of garbanzo beans, tahini, spices, and a bottle of delicious Victoria's Garden Grown Spicy Red Bell Pepper dressing. Once you taste this way healthier hummus, you will never buy store-bought hummus again. If you eat the whole bowl, relax as you are eating lots of protein and way less fat.

Yummy! It's the kind of appetizer that would fit just as well in winter as in summer. I'll try it.
