Thanksgiving Thirst-Quenchers for the Whole Family

Check out these delicious low-calorie drink ideas for Thanksgiving.

It is hard to believe Thanksgiving is almost here. I love Thanksgiving not only for the food but for the time spent with family. My daughter moved to another state three months ago and she will be home for Thanksgiving this year along with her husband. This will also be a special Thanksgiving with my older son as we have not been able to celebrate this day for the past four years as he has been either overseas or in another state with the Navy. So to be able to have all my children with me on Thanksgiving is going to be awesome. I already have started to plan my menu and my kids have been requesting their favorite items like chocolate cream pie and pumpkin pie. My favorite items to make for Thanksgiving are Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Cheddar Rosemary Bread. This year I even included some special drinks to my special meal. The drinks that I will be making this year will be delicious but low-calorie. Since the meal will already be a calorie overload, these drinks won't be adding any inches to our waistline. The drinks will be great to serve before the meal with the appetizers. These drinks will wow your guests and they will be asking for the recipe. Your guests will be amazed at how easy these drinks are to make.

The secret to these delicious drinks is Cascade Ice Sparkling Flavored Water. These zero calorie drinks are loaded with flavor and add the perfect touch to your Thanksgiving meal drinks. Cascade Ice is not only zero calories but also sodium-free, caffeine-free, gluten-free, and carb-free. Refreshing Cascade Ice is available in twenty flavors like Lemonade, Cranberry Pomegranate, Coconut Mango, and Strawberry Guava so finding a favorite flavor is easy. I used the Lemonade in a delicious Apple Cinnamon Sparkler drink for the kids. Simply mix 4oz of Cascade Ice Lemonade and 2oz of apple juice in a glass with ice. Add a green apple wedge and a cinnamon stick to complete the yummy drink.

For the grownups, I made a Cranberry Kiss Cocktail with the Cascade Cranberry Pomegranate. To mix, use 3oz of Cascade Ice Cranberry Pomegranate, 2oz of ginger ale and 2oz of gin. You can even make this drink without the gin.

Cascade Ice zero-calorie drinks are available at most grocery stores throughout the United States. I like to buy mine at Smiths, Albertsons, and Sprouts. Go take a look at all the delicious flavors of Cascade Ice to get your creative juices flowing for your Thanksgiving low-calorie drinks. There are even some recipes on their website and Pinterest.
