Breakfast For Dinner Ideas

It is too hot to cook. Who wants to turn on the oven in this heat? Not me! Sometimes it is just too hot to even get off the couch to even prepare dinner. So what is a tired mom suppose to do when the kids are screaming they are hungry? You serve cereal for dinner! My kids love when mom says it is a cereal for dinner night.  Don’t worry, serving cereal for dinner can be healthy if you create one of these delicious cereal recipes. These recipes combine the delicious taste of these healthy cereals.

Sponsored post: I receive samples of cereal to facilitate this post.

My boys love eating the Puffins right out of the box and when it is made into a yummy Puffins Summer Berry Smoothie Bowl. They think they are getting dessert for dinner as it is that good. It is so easy to make too. Just blend up your favorite smoothie, my boys love chocolate peanut butter.  Make sure to use less liquid so it is spoonable. Then let the kids top their smoothie with light and crunchy Puffins, shredded coconut, fresh berries or other fruit, and other fun healthy toppings.

My favorite way to have breakfast for dinner is a Swiss Muesli Parfait. I take my favorite Alpen muesli, yogurt, and berries and then layer it in a fancy bowl. Then I top it off with a drizzle of honey and more Alpen. This delicious muesli is packed with whole-grain wheat flakes, crispy rolled oats, roasted sliced hazelnuts, and plump juicy raisins. This muesli is so irresistible.

Did you know that you can make Instant Overnight "Oats" with Weetabix?
All you have to do is pour some milk over 2 Weetabix biscuits, stir with a spoon, and watch the magic happen. I love that this healthy whole grain cereal has only 2 grams of sugar per serving, so I can then put some fruit on top.

This mom sure does love serving Breakfast for Dinner to my boys. It is a perfect healthy whole grain dinner that my boys love. So when it gets too hot to cook, you can now feel good about serving Breakfast For dinner.

Reading the cereal boxes ~~ great stuff to read!

Experts suggest whole grain, lower sugar cereals like those mentioned above, are great choices for dinner as they can help maintain blood sugar and keep you feeling satisfied.

I've had breakfast for dinner several time of late because we just got so busy. I'll have to use your ideas and tips for future meals when that happens.

I know what you mean about the heat, it's been super hot out here in Southern California (more so than usual). I love breakfast for dinner too! :)

I used to love having breakfast for dinner when I was a kid. It always seemed like such a fun treat and, you're right, it's a great option for days when it's too hot to cook.

My son rarely eats cereal during the summer break. I think he just doesn't like the brand that I currently buy for him. I would love to see if he would like the Puffins. Love the idea of using the cereal for overnight oats.

These are awesome. I will check the nearest grocery store for its availability. However I need to hide it from my Mom, coz these kinds of food are not allowed at home. Asian Moms prefers to cook.
