Healthy Saint Patricks Day Pineapple Lime Coconut Smoothie

Check out this healthy green drink for Saint Patrick's day.

I remember growing up and enjoying a green shamrock shake. To me, they were delicious as I had no clue what was in this green drink. Thank goodness, my kids have no clue about these unhealthy drinks that are loaded with sugar and artificial colors and who knows what other chemical crap.

A healthy green smoothie to celebrate Saint Patrick day

Now that I am making better health choices, I try to avoid ingesting artificial colors. So there will be no green frosted colored cookies or green milkshakes for me or my kids. This year I will be making a delicious healthy green smoothie to celebrate Saint Patrick's day. My secret to the pretty green color is green matcha tea. This healthy powder is naturally green from green tea leaves. Matcha has a mild taste and you can not taste it in this healthy smoothie as I just used a little bit for color. This healthy loaded with protein drink has wonderful tastes of creamy coconut, pineapple, and lime which makes it a tropical delight. This is a perfect drink to serve for breakfast or really any time of day. My boys will be enjoying this yummy drink for an afternoon snack while this delightful green drink will be replacing my morning smoothie.

Put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up!

The secret to the great coconut flavor is my favorite Fermented Greek Yogurt Protein powder. I used the Coconut Cream flavor as it has an awesome coconut taste. This protein powder gives my healthy Saint Patrick's Day Pineapple Lime Coconut Smoothie some added gut health which will be great for my boy's digestion and immune system. Did you know that probiotics are great for a healthy gut?
