The 2015 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is almost here! This wonderful event takes place October 3rd through October 11th. That is 9 wonderful days of seeing over 700 hot air balloons fill the skies of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Balloon Fiesta is the largest ballooning event on earth, the most photographed event on earth, and the largest annual international event held in the United States. Imagine 54 football fields, all put together. That’s the size of Balloon Fiesta Park’s 78-acre launch field! Guests get to walk the field and are part of the action. This is an event where you get to not only see hot air balloons launch but you can be right next to the balloons as they go up. You can even ride in a hot air balloon.
I will be at the Balloon Fiesta this October and will be part of the action taking pictures for all to see. If you ever need a reason to visit Albuquerque, this is the event I highly recommend. I have lived here for 18 years and I still get excited to see all the balloons at the Balloon Fiesta. On the days leading up to the Fiesta it is common to see balloons floating over my backyard.
My favorite coffee is going to be a great part of this year's Balloon Fiesta as they are the official coffee sponsor.
