I remember buying those little jars of baby food for my kids when they were babies. My babies loved the fruit ones, but I had a hard time getting them to eat the vegetable ones. Have you ever tried the vegetable baby food? I completely understand why my kids would not eat the baby food carrots, they were bland. Those green veggie ones were down right disgusting. I think by baby number three, I no longer bought those baby food jars and instead made my own baby food from fruits and veggies. I wanted my babies to have healthy good tasting food.
Pure Spoon is a company that not only understands the importance of nutrition, but also about making food taste good. They make 100% organic, cold pasteuized fruit and veggie purees that taste so good even adults are eating them. In fact, 50% of there buyers are kids over the age of five and adults. I think if I had a baby, I would have a hard time sharing these delicious purees. It would be one spoon for baby, two spoons for mom. I was sent six different flavors of these purees and I loved them all. Pure Spoon makes eating carrots delicious, I licked the container clean. Their secret, I think is a bit of organic juice that they add to their veggie purees. Just look at all the yummy flavors that I received.
Sweet Potato & Apples
Creamy Avocado & Pears
Carrots & Zucchini
Blueberry, Banana & Apples
Simply Carrots
Simply Apples
Pure Spoon also makes these flavors:
Spinach, Pear, & Banana • Simply Carrots Apples & Broccoli •
Butternut Squash, Apples & Oats • Creamy Avocado & Apples & Simply Pears
My favorite flavor was the Creamy Avocado & Pears. It tasted like sweet pears with creamy avocados. It was so good, in fact all them were so delicious! Thank goodness Pure Spoon sent me three of each flavor so I had enough to sample while taking these pictures. I love that these purees come in resealable, recyclable 4.2 oz. containers. They make it so easy to take healthy food on the go. These purees also contain fiber, unlike most baby foods. The best part is the containers do not say baby food on them, so know one will make fun of you. These purees are also great to use in smoothies and other recipes like chia seed pudding and oatmeal. They make eating your fruits and veggies so yummy.
Pure Spoon fruit & veggie purees are made from fresh, certified
organic produce.
• Certified organic fruits & vegetables
• Organic fruits & vegetables remain raw or are lightly steamed
• Gluten-free ingredients
• Uses cool temperature, high-pressure pasteurization, HPP
• HPP means higher nutritional value and better taste than traditional
