My boys and I were treated to a preview of the Disney movie Moana and loved it.
“You may hear a voice inside. And if that voice starts to whisper to follow the farthest star … Moana, that voice inside is who you are.” ~ Gramma Tala, “Moana”
My boys and I attended a preview showing of Moana the other night and it was awesome. I love that this movie took place on the Pacific waters. The movie starts out with Moana as a baby and her love of water. She grows up and learns that she was chosen to save her people from an island that is failing. Moana leaves her island and sets off on a journey through the rough ocean. She meets Maui, a demi-god and he reluctantly helps her on her journey. Moana learns how to be brave to save her people. The music and the animation of this movie were so awesome. My boys and I were thoroughly entertained just watching Moana with her "I can do it" attitude. We also loved how the tattoos on Maui's back came to life. I think my favorite characters of the movie were the Kakamora coconuts.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why. From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CGanimated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of AuliÊ»i Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”) and produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”).
Moana sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.
