Did you grow up with Maypo in your house? I did and I fondly remember the bowl of hot cereal. I loved mornings when my mom made me a bowl of Maypo as it was a treat. When I was a kid, we did not have a microwave so hot cereal had to be made on the stove and of course that took time. So we did not get hot cereal often but when we did it was Maypo. I wonder if my mom remembers making me hot cereal. Now I get to be that mom and serve my boys delicious hot cereal as Maypo Instant Maple Oatmeal with Quinoa has arrived at my breakfast table! I love that my childhood favorite hot cereal has a modern-day Superfood in it! Now my boys can have a delicious hot cereal that not only is nutritious but also can be made in the microwave. My boys love the taste of Maypo and I love that they are eating a heart healthy breakfast. When I first made Maypo for my boys, I had to say " I want my Maypo!" They looked at me and I thought I was crazy. Once I told them about the Maypo commercial, they knew that I was not crazy. Later on, we went to Youtube and watched the Maypo commercial. I had never seen this commercial so it was entertaining for me too. I bet my mom remembers this ad.

ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of Maypo products before, buy my teens LOVE oatmeal. It's such a quick and easy breakfast food they can make for themselves when we're having a busy morning. I will have to check out Maypo's next time I buy oatmeal for my kids!
