Dairy Free Lean Green Pineapple Smoothie

This fruit smoothie is perfect for a healthy treat.

I love starting my day with a healthy smoothie and usually add frozen fruit to my drink. Fresh pineapples were on sale this week at my store so I bought a couple of them. My family loves fresh pineapple and once I cut it up, they tend to eat it up quickly. My husband also loves to pack fresh pineapple in his lunch. So if I am not quick to hide some of the pineapple chunks in the fridge, there is none left for a smoothie. So I was smart and bought two pineapples this time so I could make a Lean Green Pineapple Smoothie. This delicious green smoothie tastes like a pineapple paradise and has no green taste to it. Yes, the healthy drink is still green as it is still loaded with the all the green veggies from an amazing green superfood powder that makes this drink so nutritious without a green taste. This green superfood powder also blends so well, unlike fresh kale. So you get all the benefits of the greens without a grassy taste.

I love making this lean green drink before I head to the gym as it gives me amazing energy. I also enjoy this sweet pineapple drink for breakfast and add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to it.

Did it take you some time to get used to the taste of this product? I always struggle a bit with protein powders/healthy smoothie powders because I find the tastes a little strange!

When I make my protein powders I also add fruit to them and blend them in the blender. This MacroGreens has a nice sweet taste by itself but adding it to fruit juice makes for a delicious taste.

I love anything with pineapple. It's like taking a tropical vacation in every sip. Plus, it's good for you so you really can't go wrong.

You had me at pineapple!! This looks extremely delicious! Dairy-free is definitely a plus for me! I sometimes have trouble with dairy products, but I also love smoothies, so that can be a rough sacrifice! This recipe doesn’t require that, though! It looks great & sounds great for my gut!

Fresh fruits for smoothies are the best way to keep oneself healthy especially for people who are into cold beverages. So adding fresh fruits to this mix is a great idea.
