What I Learned From Completing The Russell Brunson's Traffic Secrets

 I am doing a 30-day challenge to learn key strategies to increase the traffic to my website. I decided to start this challenge as I wanted to increase traffic to my website. More traffic means more income and that is a good thing. This challenge to increase the traffic that I receive to my website includes reading a book and then applying what I learned in daily workbook exercises that were included in the book. In this new book by entrepreneur Russell Brunson, I learned foundational direct marketing techniques that I was able to apply to my blog so I could increase the amount of daily traffic that gets people to read my articles.


 Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook

 In his new book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers, entrepreneur Russell Brunson reveals the classic and foundational direct marketing techniques that will allow you to be at the front of new trends and see opportunities that are invisible to everyone else. Russell's book showed me how to master evergreen traffic strategies that helped me to reach the people that I was trying to inspire with my fitness and health articles. This easy to read book helped me improve the way I was writing and promoting my articles so I could get more followers to my website.

 When I first started reading Russell Brunson's book, I was not quite sure what I was going to learn but I was excited to be learning secrets from the CEO of ClickFunnels, a $100M software company. I wanted to learn the art and science of getting consumers to find my website so I could earn more income writing articles about my passions that lead me to start a website many years ago. I wanted to learn how to promote my healthy recipes so I could make more ad money as I knew more clicks on my website links meant more ad impression views which then earned me more money.

4 Key Strategies 

 The 30-day challenge had 4 key strategies that I was going to learn about and then each of these strategies had workbook activities to help me implement what I had learned. The book made things simple for me to read and the book was broken down into three sections. Those sections each contained 5-8 secrets that were going to help me learn who my dream customer was that I needed to reach to help me gain more traffic to my website to then help me earn more money.

Traffic Secrets gave me a plan

 The one thing that I liked about reading Traffic Secrets was the fact that it helped me develop a plan of things that I needed to do to improve the traffic to my website. This informative book provided me information on how to promote my articles on social media channels like Facebook and Instagram. The book also had useful information on other ways to promote my website that did not involve social media channels. The 30-day challenge was simple to follow. At the beginning of the challenge, I was provided with an outline that broke the challenge into daily steps. Each day I read some pages from the Traffic Secrets book and then I was instructed to do workbook activities. Then I took what I learned from the day's activities and applied it to my website.

 An activity that helped me get started with the goal of increasing my traffic was defining what I wanted my dream readers/customers to receive when they came to my website. For me, that was health tips and recipes for healthy food. So they changed my mindset when I wrote articles as I learned how to put myself into my dream readers' shoes.

 I really liked that Russell Brunson's book had the workbook pages and one workbook activity that was useful for me was writing down websites that my dream readers were visiting. So that led me to visit websites that were successful and discover what they were doing differently. There are 30 days of workbook activities and I know that writing down my thoughts will help me to take the steps I needed to start gaining more traffic. I also know that success does not happen overnight and it might take a while until I see more traffic to my website but in the mean-time, I will keep applying what I learned from Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers by Russell Brunson.
