Think about your family's health when cooking
I received a Tuxton Home 2-piece fry pan set to facilitate this post.
As I continue through my green journey of eliminating unsafe toxic chemicals from my house, I love discovering new healthy products that are good for my family. I started this eco-friendly wellness path about three years ago and I am still amazed at how many bad chemicals are in products that I use daily. I have have been discovering my sensitivities to many chemicals that were triggering my asthma. Since eliminating many toxic chemicals and dairy from my diet my asthma is getting better. Other things that are getting better is my dry skin and eczema since I switched to natural deodorant. I have since been working on eliminating toxic chemicals and plastic from the kitchen. I started using more glass containers and changing what I cook with. I started using safer frypans that do not have chemicals like PTFE & PFOA.
The safer choice in cookware
I recently switched out my Teflon cookware to an organic ceramic-coated nonstick fry pan made by Tuxton Home. This stainless steel pan has a ceramic coating that is free of PTFE & PFOA chemicals so that is better for my family's health. I love the bold colors that this pan is available in and it does a better job of cooking than my other pans. The first time that I used this beautiful cobalt blue frypan was the other day when I made my homemade egg foo young. I was amazed at how I did not need to use any oil or grease when cooking. My eggs did not stick to the saucepan one bit and the pan was so easy to clean after I finished cooking.
This ceramic pan is nonstick
This ceramic cookware is a high-performance frypan, not a wimpy piece of cookware. The encapsulated base with a tuxCORE aluminum disc ensures even and quick heating. I love how it is made from a professional stainless steel material that resists rusting. I can even place this pan in the oven as it is oven safe to 500°F. the handle on the ceramic cookware is cool looking and durable as they are securely riveted. Tuxton Home even thought to position the handle higher so it does not heat up and will not burn my hand. The safer cookware cooks evenly too. When I was cooking my egg foo young the other day on my gas stove, all the sides of the food cooked at the same rate.
Can be used on many cooking surfaces
I used my ceramic pan on a gas stove but this frypan is compatible with induction, electric, gas, halogen, and ceramic stoves. This pan is also designed for performance on the stove or in the oven. When I was done making my egg foo young and after I let the pan cool, it was so easy to clean with soapy water. If I wanted to, I could even place it in the dishwasher as it is dishwasher safe.
Love all the color options
My new ceramic frypan comes in a 2 piece set. The small pan is great for cooking for one and I love making breakfast eggs in it. The larger frypan is amazing to cook blueberry pancakes as well as seared salmon in it. This pan is available in six color options so you can have it match your kitchen or dishes. I had a hard time deciding which color was my favorite as they all looked beautiful. I went with the cobalt blue as it matched my new kitchen lights and looked so awesome hanging on my pot rack.
