Paul's Promise Is About Hope And Healing ~ Giveaway

It’s one man’s journey to hope and healing during a troubled time in our Nation’s history that resulted in one man’s decision to serve God and stand up to injustice - a story that continues to make a huge impact on the community to this day.

Many thanks to Damascus Road Productions for providing a sample of the product for this review. My opinions are 100% my own.

Paul’s Promise is the inspiring true story of Paul Holderfield, a bigoted firefighter-turned-pastor, who started one of the first integrated churches in the south. This is a movie that I enjoyed watching. I liked that it was based on a true story. This movie gave me a glimpse of what life was like during the 1960's Civil Rights movement. This faith-based movie is one that the whole family can enjoy. I encourage you to watch this movie with your kids as it will help them learn about how people of color were treated in the 60's. This movie will open up plenty of discussions about hate, love, and healing.

The Movie Paul's Promise teaches that there healing through the power of God. This movie shows how the love of a mother and prayer can be a powerful thing to change the heart of a person. I love this line from the trailer ~ "God is going to change him, don't you dare give up on him!" Moms, you won’t want to miss this encouraging film about the power of a praying mama! Paul's Promise will be in theaters on 10/21/2022!

Hate can not drive out hate, only love can do that.

About Paul's Promise

Synopsis: Set in the peak of the 1960s Civil Rights movement, “Paul's Promise” is the inspiring true story of Paul Holderfield, former racist firefighter-turned-pastor who started one of the first integrated churches in the American South. It’s one man’s journey to hope and healing during a troubled time in our Nation’s history that resulted in one man’s decision to serve God and stand up to injustice - a story that continues to make a huge impact on the community to this day.

"Paul's Promise is an inspiring biopic of hope, faith, and racial reconciliation." - Ryan O’Quinn, Producer

This movie shows how the power of prayer can change lives. That's exactly what it did for Paul Holderfield and all of the people he would encounter after his life-changing event when his mother never gave up on praying for him. It took the illness of Paul's mom to open his eyes and heart.

God can change anything, even a man's pride.

I love this line from the movie ~ "God is going to change him, don't you dare give up on him!

Watch the official Paul's Promise trailer starring Ryan O'Quinn, Linda Purl, Shari Rigby, Nancy Stafford, Josef Cannon, and Dean Cain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GZ-sZfI1ItA

Paul's Promise was inspired by the true story of one man saying no to hating others based on the color of their skin. Check out the real Paul Holderfield ~ Ultimately, Holderfield starts Friendly Chapel and F.L.A.M.E. (Feeding and Loving All Men Equally) to help others and spends the rest of his life giving back to anyone in need. Fully dedicated to meeting people’s needs, Holderfield builds an organization that serves others for 30+ years, meeting the nutritional (through a soup kitchen/food pantry) emotional, physical (clothing, shelter), spiritual, and health needs of others 24/7, 365 days a year. His life’s work continues to this day through his extended family.

Go see PAUL’S PROMISE in theaters starting October 21st!
