Nuby Insulated Magic Motion™ cup

I was sent a cool cup from Nuby for my little one to try out. We received a Nuby Insulated Magic Motion cup. This cup features the no-spill,easy to use, easy to clean soft silicone spout that prevents leaks and spills. I like the flip top that keeps the spout clean when not in use. The cup is also insulated to keep drinks cold longer.
My little one loves drink his morning chocolate milk out of this cup. I love that if he does not drink it right away the milk stays cold. If he tips the cup,the milk will not spill. This is a great feature for taking the cup to go in the car. No messy milk will be spill in my car.
The cup has a soft silicone spout that makes it easy for a child to drink from. That means no peeling plastic like you get from hard plastic spouts. As you can see from the picture the cup is colorful and has cool airplanes on it. When you move the cup the airplane seems to fly. This makes drinking from the cup more fun. Nuby also makes the cup with girl colors too. You can purchase this cup at www.Amazon.com  To see more information on this cup and other cool Nuby products go to www.nuby.com

As a Nuby mom blogger I was sent this product to review and the opinion are my own opinions.

Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies

I was given a sample of these wonderful cookies from Influenster. These Quaker soft baked oatmeal cookies are so yummy and good for you. I can see my kids eating these for breakfast. The cookies are
Made with Whole Grain Quaker Oats
-Individually packaged
-Provides a good source of fiber
-Contains 6 grams of total fat per serving
That makes a great breakfast or snack that I feel good about serving to my children. The cookies taste just like a homemade oatmeal cookie  and come individual wrapped to make it easy to take on the go. You can buy them a most grocery stores,so stock up for school.

These opinion are my own and I was give a sample to try from Influenster.

They Do Grow Up

Where has the time gone. Today I dropped my son off at the recruitment center as he was going off to  the Navy boot camp. It seemed like yesterday he enlisted(it was 6 months ago) and made the decision to join the navy. My husband I and were so proud of the decision he made and now we have to let him go. At least when I sent my daughter to college 4 years ago she was staying town. My son will be gone for 4 years or more. We will get to see him in 3 months for boot camp graduation and hopefully for breaks. My son has become a man and will be serving our country, wow! That is such bravery on his part. The house already feels so different without him. I still have three more boys to raise so the house will still be noisy. It is so hard to say goodbye but I know as a mom you have to let them grow up. We will miss him but I will be busy writing letters to him. I now begin my journey as a military mom.

It Does Not Hurt To Ask

I needed an oil change today,so I went to Brake Masters. I had a coupon to get the oil change for 17.99 and that is a good deal. I arrived at the store and was told it would be 2 hours until my car was done. I was near Walmart so I though ok I will do some shopping. I left my car and started walking towards Walmart. I passed Jiffy Lube on the way and saw they had  no cars in the bays. I then thought to myself "maybe they will honor Brake Masters coupon." I asked a employee if they would and he told me told me that they could not honor the coupon but would talk to his manager. His manager came out and said I can give you our oil change for 19.99(regular price is 39.99.) I thought to myself I will gladly pay 2.00 more and not have to wait 2 hrs. I got a great deal for asking. I went back to Brake Masters and got my car and drove to Jiffy Lube. My motto is just ask, they might say no or give you a great deal.

That Easy to Save Money

It is time for back to school shopping time and time for great deals. Staples paid me .94 cents(after rebates) for all this stuff plus 4 packs of mechanical pencils( forgot them in picture.)
Here is the break down(deal is good through Saturday July 14)
1 pack Staples copy paper-6.99(.25 after rebate)
          2 packs HP photo paper 8.5" x 11" 8.99 each (.50 after rebate)
1 Scotch super glue-2.99(free after rebate)
2 Bic pens,2 glue, 2 crayons one penny each
4  Paper Mate mechanical pencils .25 each
The total before rebates came to 30.02 before tax and I use a 5.00 off 30.00 coupon I found in the ad on the first page. With tax my total was 26.77.  I then went home and submitted my rebates online at Stapeseasyrebates.com,you can get a check in the mail or Paypal. I will then get a check for 27.71 in the mail. Wow what a deal! For my Cottonwood friends if you don't need this items donate them to the backpack project. Office Max and Office Depot had similar deals but the stores are not close to me. Look at the ads in the Sunday paper. There will be more great deals in the coming weeks so go get those school supplies, just look at ads in the Sunday paper. I will try to post more deals as I find them.
