Did you know that when doing laundry, heating water can account for up to 80 percent of the energy used per wash load in the U.S.? If one household switched to washing in cold for one year, they would save enough energy to watch TV for 1,363 hours! Making the switch to washing in cold is an easy change to make with Tide Coldwater, which is specially formulated to get clothes clean in cold water.
<>I will be making the pledge as I already wash in cold water.

A New Use For Lemonade

I wanted to make lemon sugar cookies the other day but did not have any lemon juice. So off to Walgreens I went in search of lemon juice. I went to Walgreens as I can walk to that store and I did not want to waste gas for one item. Walgreens did not have any lemon juice and there fresh lemons were not so fresh. On my walk home I thought I could try using the powder lemonade dink mix I had in my pantry. I put about a half of cup of mix in my cookie dough and the cookies came out great. I then put the same amount in my frosting and that was wonderful tasting. So my frugality has once again saved me.

Boogie Wipes

Once again I got selected to be a Saline Ambassador and coould not be happier. For those who are not familar with these products, they are saline wipes to wipe your nose. For the kids there is grape scented Boogie wipes and for grownups methol and unsented Saline wipes. These are great wipes for noses. My kids love wiping their nose with a grape scented Boogie wipes and I do too love the scent. If you see me be sure to ask for a sample of the wipes.
These opinions are my own and I recieved samples from Saline Soothers and Boogie wipes as a Ambassador.

Magic Jelly Beans

The night before Easter I gave Kodi and Jesse a package of magic jellybeans. I told them that if we planted them something would grow. So we put them in the planters in the yard that night. The next morning Tyler replaced the jellybeans with lolly pops and plastic eggs. Kodi and Jesse were so surprised to find their treats. Now everytime they see jellybeans, they ask me if they are magic.

The way to watch Tv

My boys have discovered a new way to watch tv. I walked into the living room and found them enjoying their movie upside down. These two can always find new ways to entertain themselves.

Chuck E Cheese's and Money Saving Tips

Today we went to Chuck E Cheese for Jesse's birthday. My kids love this place and always choose it for their birthday. This place can be pricey,so I will share some tips on getting the most for your money. First is of course use coupons! Go to www.chuckecheese.com and sign up your kids. They will get coupons that are better than the ones in the paper. I used one that was for a large pizza, four drinks, and 110 tokens for 29.99 and also a salad bar for 4.99. Also at the website there are games for the kids to play to get free tickets. We played the Chuck E Blocks and got 50 free tickets per kid. Under Promotions there is a reward calendar tab,you prnt a calendar and have your child do the task for two weeks and they get 10 free tokens. Your children can also get free tokens for good grades and if they are celebrating their birthday(one for each year.) The best advice is buy a set amount of tokens and tell the child when they are gone that is all,we will not buy more. Let the kids have  blast on their birthday without breaking the bank. I spent a total of 37.00 today for pizza,salad,4 drinks, and 135 tokens. Jesse says "thankyou grandma for the birthday money to spend here."
