Huggies Mominspired Grant Program

This is a very cool program Huggies does for moms who want to start a bussiness. They will give moms like you money to get you ideas out there.

• Grant recipients will receive $15,000 in seed capital as well as business resources to help turn innovative ideas into real-life inventions.
• Applications for the 2012 Huggies MomInspired grant program are currently being accepted through July 31, 2012.
• Moms can learn more and submit original, innovative and viable new business and product ideas now at HuggiesMomInspired.com.
• Grants will be announced and awarded in fall 2012.

Dry Idea Review and Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to test Dry Idea Advanced Dry roll-on 24 HR antiperspirant & deodorant from Purex Insiders. I am a runner and sweat,so I put it to the test. The product they sent me is unscented but it also comes in scents like Powder Fresh and Cotton Dry. The roll-on has 24 HR protection and is fast drying with it's MicroCotton formula. It is also hypo-allergenic and contains vitamin E. The minute I applied Dry Idea,I liked the way it went on smooth and dried fast. I like scent, so the unscented did not appeal to me.  I then went running to put it to the test. I did not smell or have any wetness after I ran,that is a plus to me. At the end of the day I was still dry and fresh. Although Dry Idea is made for us ladies,the unscented product would be great for guys too.

 My husband came home from work complaining his antiperspirant was not working and he was sweating a lot,as we are having hot weather here. He complained his shirt had wet spots under the arms.  He is in and out of his car all day and the car never has a chance to cool down.  So I seized the moment to have him test Dry Idea. The next day when he came home from work,my husband said Dry Idea worked and he did not have wet spots on his shirt,nor did he smell. I am glad I found something for him to use.

Hamburger Helper Community

I was selected by Pssst to join their Hamburger Helper Community. I was chosen to join this community to share my ideas,tips and recipes with other members. They sent me a cute hand puppet and two boxes of Hamburger Helper. I love being a part of communities to help influence the products on the market. It is such a cool feeling knowing you helped bring a product to the grocery shelf.

They Are Never to Young For Chores

It was time to fold the laundry and I asked Jesse to get the clothes out of the dryer. He found a better way than me to get the job done. He filled up the basket for me. Then Kodi and Jesse got busy folding the clothes all by themselves,they did not need my help.

As I am typing this post they are busy folding and asking me whose clothes are whose. It is great to see that at a young age of 4 and 5 they learned how to be a part of the household chores. It is amazing what little ones will do if asked, as they like to be helpers. Jesse and Kodi not only help fold the clothes but will put them away also,I just tell them where it goes. I love their saying for towel folding. "First you fold it like a hamburger,then a hotdog,then a hamburger." Their big sister showed them how. Of course they make folding fun also, as they try on moms underware(sorry no picture for that one.)

My Children's Claritin Madagascar Party

I am a member of the children's Claritin moms crew and I had the opportunity to host a Madagascar viewing party to promote the release of Madagascar 3 on June 8th in movie theaters. I recieved the goodies pictured above which included Madagascar 1 and 2 on DVD. There also was samples of Claritin to hand out to my mom friends. I am proud to help other moms learn about Children's Claritin for allergies. My whole family takes Claritin for seasonal allergies. I love knowing Claritin is safe to give to my 5 year old and he loves the grape taste of the chewables. I love that Children's Claritin is non-drowsy and helps my little one no.t sneeze or have drippy nose due to allergies
 My kids invited their friends over to watch Madagascar 1. The kids had fun drawing lion masks before watching the movie.

We then watched the movie and even the moms loved it.

When the movie was over I gave all the moms samples of Claritin and also coupons. The kids got stickers of the animals in the movie.
  My family is looking forward to seeing Madagascar 3 after June 8th when it hits the theaters.
