Cooking With Beans Book Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I was offered a Kindle book about how to cook with beans called Cooking With Beans and jumped at the opportunity as I am always looking for new recipes for beans. I love beans not only because I do not eat meat but because they are a great, inexpensive form of protein. I started eating beans many years ago when money was tight but I discovered that I love the taste of beans more than meat. I also felt better when I cut meat out of my diet. This book is also great for meat eaters too as it will show you how to add  them to meals for the health benefits too. Beans are low in fat, high in protein, and packed with fiber.
Most people do not eat beans as they don't know how to use them in recipes.. This book will show you how to make frugal and delicious recipes using beans. . There are so many types of beans that you can use in your cooking. The Cooking With Beans will show you how to make cheap and easy meals using dried or can beans. The Cooking With Beans Book has over 20 recipes in it from breakfast to dessert. I was surprised that you can make a chocolate gluten free cake with beans. Another favorite of mine was the lasagna recipe.I also loved the recipe for roasted chickpeas, my kids love snacking on those.
While the majority of recipes in the book have meat in them, you can just omit it if you don't eat meat like me. The only thing I did not like about the book was there was no pictures of the recipes. I like pictures to help me decided if I want to try the recipe. Other than that, I give this book a thumbs up as it shows people great ways to get more beans into their diets. So if you are looking to get the wonderful benefits of beans into your diet go to Amazon and download this book for only .99 cents.  That is a great price!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I like the gluten free cake idea! My mom has celiac, so I'm always trying to find new ideas for when we have her over for dinner :)

I love reading cookbooks for ideas! Great review. I don't usually cook with beans, but I think that's because I need creative ideas :)

I love beans too but the hubby doesn't. Maybe one of these recipes would help! Thanks!
