AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists is a company that is putting America and veterans back to work,. AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists specializes in helping homeowners have peace of mind knowing their homes are stable and dry. They are a company that started out of a home garage in north Alabama and have grown to now have multiple locations all over the Southeast and over 250 employees serving Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi. Groundworks is excited to announce that they have joined forces with AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists. This partnership has been years in the making and they are thrilled to welcome AFS to the Tribe! Their mission is to protect, repair, and improve our customers' greatest asset - their home. So joining forces with AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists will help them not only put Americans back to work but help people keep their homes safe.
I am always proud to see an American company growing like this in today's economy their mission is evident in their most recent acquisition and this video shows their excitement. Groundworks is a national US basement & foundation repair company that is aggressively moving across the US. Led by a company culture based on Navy Seal training, the GW tribe has instilled duty, unity, and purpose across its company and subsidiaries.
This is a company that I would be proud to hire if I needed repairs to the foundation of my home. My home is very important to me and I do my research when it comes to home repairs. Hiring a construction worker from a company that believes in America is always a good thing. I love Groundworks statement "Everyone puts their boots on the same way" as it shows me that they have core values that care about people. Here is another video that explains what they do and shows their excitement about the new partnership with Groundworks and AFS. So watch the video to learn more about a company that cares about putting people to work.

The issue of construction quality can be way more painful for business than for a private owner, because a mistake in the foundation of a shopping center or a hotel doesn’t cost a few thousand but tens of millions and broken contracts. I saw a developer on Peachtree Street lose $18M because a contractor cut corners and then spent a year in court with investors. As a result, many colleagues started bringing in people who oversee the project from contractor selection to final delivery and actually teach executives how not to lose money. In this regard I liked the format of cooperating with a construction mentor because this gives a systemic understanding of where risks usually hide and how to calculate them in advance. So...Do you in your companies rely on internal staff or do you trust external experts with 30 plus years of experience?
