6 Natural Cleaners That You Need To Try

Are you looking for safe natural cleaners to clean your home? Keep reading to discover some cleaners that are made with natural ingredients and are safe to use around children and pets.

My health matters to me as well as the health of my family. Having a clean home is important to me as a dirty home may be filled with germs or other dangerous things like mold. As I clean my home, I am careful in what I use to clean my home. I will only use safe non-toxic cleaners in my home.

While you may think it is okay to clean your home with common cleaners like bleach or common disinfectants, it really is not as those cleaners have ingredients that may be affecting your health. I have asthma and I immediately react to chemical cleaners with coughing. Just walking past the cleaning aisle in the store or being near a cashier spraying the convoy belt sets me into an asthma attack.

Everyone is affected by chemical cleaners and chemical fragrances

Everyone is affected by chemical cleaners and chemical fragrances, some just have noticeable symptoms. You may say that those toxic cleaners don't affect me. While you may not react when breathing in those chemicals, they are going into your lungs and body. Your body may be reacting in other ways that don't produce noticeable symptoms like asthma or headaches. Those gut problems may be related to chemicals. If you breathe in the chemicals they can get to your gut through swallowing as your sinuses are connected to your throat.

Don't get me started on people who wear perfume!

My lungs are ultra-sensitive and most cleaners affect my respiratory system making it hard for me to breathe. I can't even be near people wearing perfume. Common household cleaners are loaded with chemical crap fragrances that linger in the air and breathing those fragrances affect your lungs. While you think that your allergies are caused by plants, the cause may also be chemical fragrances. Check out this article Do You Know What Is In Your Perfume?

Ready to use safer natural cleaners?

You may be reading this article as you already use cleaners made from safe ingredients or you want to start cleaning with natural cleaners in your home. You may not even have a clue about the dangers of using chemical cleaners. The reason does not matter to me. I just want to share some amazing natural cleaners that I have discovered. Some of these cleaners, I have been using for years and others are new to me.

1. Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap

I love using this 18-in-1 pure castile soap for my hand soap. This soap is concentrated, versatile, and effective at cleaning. The castile soap is Made with organic and certified fair trade ingredients. You will love all the 7 different scents that this soap comes in. The best part is the soap fragrance is scented with organic essential oils. If you don't prefer scent they also make an unscented version.

What I love most about this natural soap is that one 16-ounce bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap makes 8 containers of hand soap. You simply use the concentrated soap and add it to water. While I only use this castile soap for hand soap, this product can be used for 18 different uses from laundry soap to even toothpaste.

2. Gear Hugger’s Heavy-Duty Degreaser

Most degreasers are made with toxic ingredients that harm the environment. Gear Hugger Heavy-Duty Degreaser is a water-based, plant-powered, non-toxic solution that is made from upcycle waste from the production of tequila. This degreaser is easy to use, fast-acting, and safe for people, pets, and the planet.

I use vinegar to clean with especially hard water problems. I recently put it in my counter top ice maker to clean out the build up. It helped a ton.
