Key West Organic Unrefined African Shea Butter Is Great For Dry Skin

I sure do love Shea Butter and have tried a lot of brands but I think I have found my favorite one so far. Key West Organic Unrefined African Shea Butter is one that I really like for many reasons. This Shea Butter comes in a BPA free container with a tight fitting lid which is better that how other Shea Butters have been packaged. I have tried some that arrived in a plastic bag and I had to repackage it. I also had one in thin container with a loose fitting lid. The tight screw on lid of Key West Shea Butter means my butter will stay fresh longer.

What is Shea Butter?
Shea Butter is a "butter" that comes from a nut from the African Shea tree. This wonderful creamy "butter" is an excellent moisturizer for the face and body and can also be used in the hair too. It is also well known for its natural healing properties.

I also like the smoothness of Key West Shea Butter. This butter was very creamy and I did not have to warm it up with my fingers like I had to do with other ones. I love how this Shea Butter is easy to use and feels so much like butter. I love using Shea Butter on my dry skin as it makes it feel so moisturized and soft. I also love that a little bit goes a long way

Key West Shea Butter is USDA certified organic and is packaged in a BPA free and FDA approved container, to eliminate harmful chemicals getting into the butter. It is made with no added dyes or synthetic ingredients. This Shea Butter also is processed by hand using water extraction and screened for impurities, resulting in the highest quality grade A Shea Butter.  I love that this product is sourced from a local women's co-op in Ghana to ensure fair wages & ethical treatment.

So how do I use Shea Butter?

Shea Butter can be used straight from the container and rubbed into you skin, giving it wonderful softness. Raw Shea Butter can also be used to create a wide variety of homemade recipes such as lotions, sugar scrubs, hair conditioner, whipped Shea Butter, lip balms and more.

I love using my Shea Butter on my hands and feet before bed. I slather it on and I wake up with soft skin. I also use Shea Butter on my face too as it makes my face feel soft and does not clog my pores. My older son lost his lip balm the other day and I told him to use the Shea Butter and it worked great. I have also used Shea Butter on my youngest son's hands after he suffered a 2nd degree burn. I waited until the new skin grew back and then I applied the Shea to keep his hands from scarring and the skin moist.

That does look like it's really creamy. I may have to try this brand out just for that & the packaging alone since I love Shea Butter!
