I received samples of the mentioned products to try and review.
I love checking out healthy products and always have companies wanting to send me their products. Now, I don't always say yes to every company that wants to send me something. I am selective and will only choose ones that sound delicious or have health benefits that I want to learn about. I will also say yes to products that have ingredients in it that I already enjoy. This week I tried three products that are all gluten-free. I did not say yes because they are gluten-free but I like to mention that for my readers who are seeking gluten-free foods. One of the product is even great for the Ketogenic diet.
A drink that gives energy for the mind and body!
I love turmeric and I am always looking for new ways to enjoy it beyond my morning smoothies and supplements. So when I heard that Wonder Fuel had turmeric in it along with coconut MCT's in it, I was intrigued about the energy for my mind and body. I know very little about MCT's but I wanted to discover this energy. I like that this drink is organic and vegan as I am trying to eat a more plant-based diet. I also like that these are caffeine free so I can enjoy them in the afternoon and not worry about not being able to fall asleep at night. At first, I did not like the taste of these drinks, maybe because I did not read the fine print of enjoying them cold. So I stuck them in my fridge and gave them a second chance as I liked that they had 5 grams of fiber in them along with mind energy. Once they were cold, I tried the drinks again and the taste was much better. The original had some nice notes of vanilla and cardamom in it but also had the taste of coconut water in it. The turmeric tasted of mostly turmeric and coconut water. I am not a fan of coconut water so while these were not my favorite when it comes to taste, I would drink these for the mind fuel. I would drink these in the afternoon when my mind is tired and I need to get things done. I would add these to a fruit smoothie to make the taste for appealing. So if you are a fan of coconut water, then you might enjoy these. These drinks also come in a coffee flavor that I wanted to try but the company did not send me that flavor. The Energy Bar Made From Sesame Seeds
Most people think of hummus when it comes to tahini and don't realize that it is a delicious spread made from sesame seeds. These snack size bars are made from all-natural roasted sesame seeds and were quite tasty. They did have a dry texture that my boys did not care for but I enjoyed these slightly sweet energy bars. The vanilla bars were my favorite and I loved the health benefits of these super seed energy bars. Just look at the health benefits:
Health Benefits - Sesame seeds are an excellent source of copper, manganese, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, molybdenum, and selenium. These translate into a variety of health benefits including cholesterol-lowering phytosterols, heart health, improved blood pressure, hormone balance, as well as cancer-fighting and fat burning properties. Sesame also helps boost nutrient absorption and energy levels, too.
These 100% gluten-free treats are available in three delectable varieties – Cocoa Nibs, Pistachio, and Vanilla. Check them out http://www.absolutelygf.com/
Cookies for the Keto diet!
I love cookies and tend to eat too many so I am always looking for cookies that are healthier. While I am not a fan of the low-carb diet, I eat plenty of healthy carbs, I liked that these cookies have protein in them and were low in sugar. Since I don't eat meat and have been lifting weights, I have been trying to eat more protein. For those that follow the Ketogenic diet, these are cookies that you will enjoy as they are very sweet, a bit too sweet for my taste buds. They were sweetened with erythritol and made with coconut and almond flour. My boys enjoyed these cookies and I think they will be great for my skinny child as they have plenty of fat in them. I really don't know much about the Keto diet but I was surprised that 2 cookies had 24 grams of fat in them, a bit too much for me. These cookies come in four flavors and my boys liked the peanut butter ones best. Check them out https://eatnui.com

I don't enjoy the taste of turmeric in my smoothies although I'm forced to take it for health's sake. I wish I came across that Wonder Fuel energy drink, it would lessen my hate for turmeric since it looks like some yummy yoghurt.
It's so important to find brands that you can trust especially when you or other members of your family may have dietary restrictions.
I find that turmeric blends well with mangos and pineapples.

These sound good! I'll pass them onto my MIL, who is gluten free! She's always looking for things to try.
