Lemon Pie Smoothie For Muscle Recovery

This delicious lemon pie smoothie is so delicious and is perfect for after the gym. From the sweet lemon flavor to the Graham cracker crumbs, it tastes like a piece of lemon pie. The added turmeric and plant-based protein will help your muscles recover.

Protein smoothies are a great way to get plenty of protein after a workout, but the reality is, they can get boring quickly. Most protein powders come in a couple of flavors, like vanilla or chocolate, not leaving you with much variety. Sure, there are other flavors of protein powder, but they tend to have artificial flavors or artificial sweeteners in them.

I like to use unflavored protein powder for my morning smoothie and add fruit for the sweetness. Sometimes I will sweeten my smoothie with a bit of honey or peanut butter. The awesome thing about buying plain protein powder is that I can use it in my oatmeal or add it to recipes.

I love making a bowl of savory oatmeal with protein powder and salt. Then I top it with cooked kale, avocado, and sunflower seeds. My oatmeal is transformed into a high-protein meal with the addition of protein powder.

This Lemon Pie Smoothie uses plain protein powder along with honey, plant milk, and lemon juice. There is no artificial crap in this smoothie. It offers a new flavor variety to your smoothie routine.

My favorite plain, unflavored protein powder is Huel

My favorite plain, unflavored protein powder is Huel. Huel is different and is not like other protein powders. Huel is more than a protein powder; it is a nutritionally complete food powder. Huel is a perfectly balanced and nutritionally complete meal powder.  It can be used as a meal replacement.
This powder is high in protein and fiber, low in sugar and salt, rich in phytonutrients, and contains all 27 essential vitamins and minerals.

Huel is my fuel that keeps my body going on busy days. I love that Huel is packed with vegan plant-based protein and is also gluten-free. Huel is available in many other flavors and also comes in ready-made bottles. They also have these Complete Savory Meals that are perfect for quick meals.

Huel contains just the right amount of protein, essential fats, fiber, carbohydrates, and all 27 essential vitamins & minerals. It’s vegan, lactose-free, soy-free, GMO-free, high in protein, and contains less than 2% sugar.

I love the way Huel is packaged

Most protein powders are packaged in big plastic tubs that take up a lot of space in your recycling bin.  These plastic tubs also use a lot of resources to make and recycle. Huel packages their powder into lightweight, multi-serve pouches. While not recyclable, they account for less than 3% of the product's carbon footprint.

Can this smoothie be made vegan or gluten-free?

If you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, this delicious smoothie can be made allergy-friendly. It can also be made gluten-free and vegan. Huel protein powder is already vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free, you will need to make simple ingredient swaps.

+ Use oatmilk or coconut milk instead of the cashew milk

I like this smoothie that you have put together. Lemon is a less common flavor and it is nice to mix things up a little bit. I have been trying to get more protein in my diet, and I would like to try this out.

I am sure I'd love this smoothie. I tend to enjoy all lemon things and I could probably use more protein.

This sounds like the kind of smoothie I would enjoy especially adding lemon. I need to give this one a try.
