>U Mom Knows Best: Yosuda Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike For Knee Recovery

Yosuda Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike For Knee Recovery

Looking for a low-impact exercise machine for the home? I had a chance to check out a recumbent exercise bike from Yosuda, and it was the perfect workout machine for my husband.

My husband injured his knee a month ago and was not able to exercise for a couple of weeks. During that time, he was happy to take a break from the gym, as he is not a fan of exercise. Now that his knee is getting better, the physical therapist wants him to start doing low-impact exercises like swimming or using an exercise bike. The low-impact exercises will help his knee continue to heal.

The problem is getting my husband back to the gym to exercise. The long break has changed his morning routine and his motivation to exercise. My husband knows a healthy body needs exercise, but doing his workout is a whole different thing. He is a man of many excuses for not exercising.

Yosuda Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike For Knee Recovery

I knew that if I was going to get my husband to work out, I had to make it easy. So I decided to purchase a Yosuda Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike. I could place the exercise bike in the living room, facing the TV. That way, my husband could watch his favorite shows while he was exercising.

The recumbent bike is designed for low-stress, injury-conscious workouts and is perfect for those with knee problems. This bike is awesome for seniors, pregnant users, and those with back concerns.

Easy to Assemble

The bike came with detailed instructions and was easy to assemble. From start to finish, my teen son was able to assemble the bike in 25 minutes. I loved that the box even included the needed tools.

Once the bike was put together, I wheeled it into the living room. The wheels on the bike frame made it super easy to move. I placed it by the couch and made sure it faced the TV. The bike did not take up that much space. If we were having company over, it would fit in a walk-in closet.

Durable Frame

While this bike was easy to move, the frame was very durable and built to last. I own other exercise equipment from Yosuda, and they are still in great shape. I have owned my Yosuda rower for 2 years and use it several times a week. I do love my rowing workouts, as they use over 84 muscles.

Other features that we love about the Yosuda Recumbent Exercise Bike

~ Comfort for Every Rider - The recumbent bike has a soft, oversized cushion seat that can support up to 350 lbs. The seat is also adjustable to fit different heights.

~ Whisper-Quiet Workouts - The bike is super quiet. When my husband works out, he can still hear his TV. He can also use it in the morning while I am sleeping.

~ Made for the whole family - The 16 resistance settings let the user control the intensity, so even I can use it for an intense workout. I love using the bike at level 16 to work out my core muscles.

~ Track Every Achievement - The bike monitors your pulse, speed, distance, calories, and more. That way, my husband can watch TV and not the clock.

~ Great for indoor exercise - When it is too cold outside to go for a walk.

~ Cheaper than a gym membership - Great way to exercise when you have kids.

~ Affordable - Yosuda makes affordable exercise equipment for the home gym. This bike is a great value at $249!

From couch potato to fitness

The Yosuda Magnetic Recumbent Exercise Bike helped my husband do his exercises, and the physical therapist was happy. Having the exercise bike in the living room motivated my husband to work out. Some days, my husband got up early and rode the bike while he played games on his phone. On other days, he biked while watching his favorite shows.

My favorite way to use the bike was to listen to music. I would also use my resistance bands while I was biking. Even my teen son used the bike while watching movies on his phone.

Having the bike in the living room helped my husband get back to fitness. My husband likes that the bike does not hurt his knee, like walking does. His physical therapist is seeing an improvement in his knee and encourages my husband to use the bike at least 3 times a week.

I need to get one of these bikes. Sometimes my knee does hurt, so it would come in handy.

This rower sounds like such a good product. I might need to add that to our collect as well as some resistance bands.

That is great that you can use this as a tool for helping with knee injuries. I have knee issues and I think this would be useful for me to try out.

I'm so glad your husband was able to find an exercise machine to help his knee out. Seems like a very handy machine to have, especially since it's so quiet & you can watch tv at the same time.
