Gramma In A Box Emojis And Minions Cookie Box

Check out this month of goodies in the Gramma in a Box

I received a Gramma in a Box to facilitate this post.

This month has been a busy one. We started the month with a train ride to visit my mom. That was a fun trip and we enjoyed taking the train instead of the long car ride. Then when we got back, my son went to overnight camp. The next week my middle child came home from the Merchant Marine Academy for summer break. Next week I am headed off to California for a mini vacation, without the kids, to a fitness conference.  When I come back, my daughter and her husband will be moving into their first home so we will be helping them move. My boys have also been busy doing some yard work for the neighbors. So finding time to relax and have fun has not happened much this month.

We love when a box from Gramma comes in the mail

When we came home from our trip, our favorite craft box subscription was waiting for us in our stack of mail. My boys were so excited and wanted to make the delicious treats and cookies right away. I looked at the pile of dirty clothes from our trip and told them not today. The next day was super busy as I was getting my son packed for camp. So I placed the Gramma in a Box in the fridge and told the boys we frost the cookies and make the treats in a week after my son got back from camp. I am so glad that the ingredients in the cookie decorating box stay fresh for some time and only needed to be placed in the fridge so the chocolate did not melt.

Emoji's and Minions

The theme this month for our Gramma in a Box was Emoji's and Minions and the boys thought that was awesome. The boys were excited to frost cookies that looked like those cute Minions and they loved the cool candy eyes. As usual, the youngest went to town with the frosting and put way too much on his cookies. My older son took his time decorating his cookies with the stars and mustache sprinkles. I like that this treat making box has plenty of frosting and sprinkles in it.

Emoji Pops

The next food craft was chocolate dipped marshmallows that looked like Emojis. My son melted the yellow chocolate melts in the microwave and dipped the marshmallows into that. Then both boys had fun creating faces on the marshmallow pops.

Minion Bites

My boys always remember to save some of the melted chocolate for the final treat project as this kid recipe is always a great way to use up the leftover melted chocolate. Blue sprinkles and cocoa crisp cereal made a delicious treat that resembled Minions.

So much fun in a box

The monthly Gramma in a Box always includes baked cookies with frosting and sprinkles as well as two easy candy crafts to make. The monthly subscription box is always packed with enough ingredients to make up to 20 finished products. So there is always plenty of treats for the boys to share with mom and dad. I love the Step-by-step instructions with illustrations are included in the treat craft box as that makes it so easy for my boys to create the recipes without any help from mom. The box comes with almost everything that kids need to have fun cooking. The only supplies that the boys need to gather from the kitchen are usually spoons, plastic knives, and a bowl to melt the chocolate in. These boxes are so fun for everyone in the family. Gramma really puts a lot of love into these fun sweet craft boxes. These cookie craft boxes are a fun monthly activity for kids. Check out  "How it Works" for more information.

My boys and I had always have fun creating with the Gramma In A Box! This fun box had some delicious food crafts that were all so fun to make. Every Gramma food craft box always has unique treats in it. This monthly box was so fun and we enjoyed eating the treats. I think the boys both agree that their favorite box was the Beach Party Treats one from last year. My boys always look forward to discovering the theme of the month. Check out this month of goodies in the Gramma in a Box

I received a Gramma in a Box to facilitate this post.

Every month my boys get a fun craft box of make and eat sweet treats from Gramma. This monthly subscription box for kids is one that my boys really enjoy. My boys love that they can decorate cookies and make other delicious treats without any help from mom. This food craft box is always so fun and of course, the treats are so fun to eat. Sometimes, the boys create the desserts by themselves and other times, I join in on the fun. Every month the box of treats has a different theme and this month the theme was Butterfly and Blossoms. When this box arrived, I opened up and got excited when I saw the butterfly cookies and all the pretty colors of frosting. I told the boys that I was going to help them decorate the cookies this month. I also told them that they would have to share the frosted butterfly cookies with me. I think cookies taste so much better when shaped like butterflies.

Gramma does all the work. You have all the fun!

Who should get Gramma in a Box?

Gramma in a Box is perfect for grandparents who spend time with their grandchildren; grandparents who want to send something to their grandchildren because they don't see them as often as they'd like; nieces and nephews; college students (their dorm mates will love this!); stay at home date night for couples; and even parents who want a fun activity with their children without all the work! Gramma in a Box is perfect for everyone! If you have grandkids who live far away, you could get a box for yourself and make the treats together while doing a video call.

The delicious cookie craft box always has frosting and sprinkles

Even dad joined in on the fun with the cookie decorating. The Easter eggs, bunnies, and chicks were so fun to frost. The boys are learning how to decorate cookies like a baker. Dad frosted the pink and yellow chick cookie while I frosted the multi-colored bunny. I think I may need some more practice with cookie decorating. My boys frosted the other cookies and I do agree that they are so delicious looking. We all agreed that gramma makes the best sugar cookies.

I love how creative the monthly treat boxes are

The sweet treats are so easy to make and my boys have become pros at melting the chocolate in the microwave. The hardest part for my boys is not to eat the ingredients before making the treats. I think some of these candy flowers maybe missing some marshmallows as I may have grabbed one or two when the boys were not looking. My boys have been having so much fun creating yummy treats every month. I think their favorite box was the Beach Party Treats one from last year.

Step by step instructions with pictures of the finished kid craft

My boys loved how easy it was to make the Marshmallow flower pops and they both agreed that they tasted so good. The boys asked if we could buy a bag of colored marshmallows and white chocolate chips so they could make the flower pops for Easter dinner. I thought that was a great idea!

My youngest son enjoys the mixing part

The youngest son enjoys mixing up the ingredients while the older son enjoys creating the food crafts. These Crunchy Bird's Nests were a unique spring treat with some delicious ingredients like jelly beans. I may have again snuck a jelly bean or two while the boys were not looking, so some of the nests were missing some eggs. When the boys made the Gramma in a Box for Thanksgiving last year, it was so hard to resist the candy corn treats. You need to check out the sweet treat that the boys made with the candy corn in the Thanksgiving box.

What is your favorite flavor of jelly beans?

Making Valentines Day Goodies With Gramma In A Box

Check out this month of goodies in the Gramma in a Box

My boys are always happy to see the familiar red box that comes in the mailbox every month. The boys know that this is their monthly box of sweet treats that they get to make all by themselves. My boys can't wait to open up the box and tear through the red polka dot tissue paper to see what food crafts Gramma has made for them this month. I love that Gramma in a Box does all the work of gathering up all the supplies and puts just enough frosting and sprinkles in the box so I don't end up with leftovers that sit in my fridge for months. Having just the right amount of frosting also means that my kids don't eat too many sweets.

Cute Valentines treats to create in no time

I love that Gramma thinks of the projects for my boys and does the shopping for me. I try so hard to create those items that I see on Pinterest but it never seems to happen. I pin plenty of creative treat recipes every month with good intentions to make them but time gets away from me and I always forget to buy the ingredients. So this monthly make it box allows my boys to make treats for the holidays. This month's box of sweets was Valentines Day themed. Every box always contains three recipes for my boys to make and I love that step-by-step instruction with pictures are always included. When I saw the candy canes in the box, I said to the boys that Gramma is a smart shopper. I love that she repurposed holiday candy canes into a Valentine's Day craft.

I love that she repurposed holiday candy canes

My favorite recipe craft in the red box is always the cookies. I love frosted sugar cookies and ones made into cute shapes like hearts taste even better. My boys know to put lots of frosting and sprinkles on a cookie for me to enjoy. The other crafts in the box always involve melted chocolate. The boys are a pro with melting the chocolate melts in the microwave. They know to never lick the spoon that they are using to stir the chocolate with. I once did just that and the water made the chocolate turn into a bunch of unuseable crumbs. I love my chocolate and I hate to see it go to waste.

Candy hearts are my favorite Valentine candy

There was candy hearts in the yummy box of make and eat treats this month. I tried sneaking one but my boys would not let me. They said that I had to wait until they made the treat with them. Do you like reading the sayings on the candy hearts? I remember as a kid and how I would enjoy reading the messages on those delicious candy hearts. That reminds me, I need to go buy a bag of Valentine's candy hearts from the store. I like the big hearts the best.

Monthly subscription box filled with cookies and candy treats

This monthly subscription box is filled with plenty of fun items like cookies, candy, frosting, and sprinkles so kids can make some delicious treats. Each box makes plenty of treats so my boys can share them with others. Each month the box has a different theme. Last month my boys had a blast dressing up in clothes that matched the cookie box theme. You have to go check out how cute my boys looked while making their treats- click HERE to see what the theme was.

The boxes are making my boys excited about cooking

These delicious monthly boxes are inspiring my boys to want to be in the kitchen more. Every weekend, my boys want to help me with cooking and baking. Last week my son helped make healthy pancakes for breakfast and it was so cool to see my husband show him how to tell when to flip the pancakes over. I think my son is ready to make pancakes on his own and maybe I will get breakfast in bed on Mother's Day.
