A Refreshing Glass Of Ice Tea Can Help Chronically Unemployable Women Find Work

I just love to relax with a glass of refreshing ice tea.

One of my favorite things to do on a hot summer day is sitting outside under my pergola and relax with a glass of ice tea. I love that I can take a day off from work and relax. That word work brings a smile to my face as I love getting paid for something that I enjoy doing. For my family, me working means that we have money to spend on the extra and fun things. Not all ladies are as fortunate. For some, just getting a job can be tough. One company in Denver is helping chronically unemployable women find work and you can help their mission with a glass of refreshing ice tea.

The Denver gourmet food company, Women’s Bean Project (WBP) is on a mission to help chronically unemployable women find work and it all started with $500 worth of beans. This gourmet food company is on a mission to break the cycle of unemployment and poverty by putting impoverished women to work in the food sector. You can help them by purchasing one of their 50 specialty food items like this delicious ice tea mix. As I was making this easy to make ice tea mix, I was telling my boys that we have a choice of where to spend our money. We can buy products that help support people or we can buy a product that helps someone to live in a mansion. They thought helping someone get out of poverty was a better choice.

Sponsored post: I was sent samples of products from WBP to facilitate this post.

I told my boys that I can choose to buy my gourmet coffee from the WBP or from the fancy coffee house. To me being that the coffee is comparable in price and tastes even better. I think the coffee from the Women's Bean Project tastes a whole lot better and it supports ladies who need help getting a job. It helps ladies turn their lives around. You need to go read about these success stories on the WBP Website. It simply amazing how this program helps ladies get off the street life or are no longer homeless.

The Women's Bean Project sells more than beans. They have over 50 gourmet food items that make great gifts or special treats for the family. My boys can't wait for me to make them brownies! Those silver tins contain some amazing spice blends that you can make salsa or guacamole with and use for your next barbecue. I know where I will be shopping when I need to send a gift to someone. For now, I have found a great place to get my gourmet coffee beans from.

I had never heard of the Women’s Bean Project before reading your post. I love tea, and this is a cause that I could get behind.

I love me some ice tea and though I haven't heard of this project before, it is something I can definitely support. I realize how lucky I am to be able to feed and clothe my children when there are women out there who struggle to do this.

I have been begging my husband to either buy me some patio furniture or make me some so I can sit our balcony with some tea or coffee and just blog my heart out !
