 If you have teenagers living in your house, you know what I mean, when I say they are always on their devices. My youngest teen always has his phone in his hand and wireless earbuds in his ears. My sons are both straight A students and they participate in school sports as well as NJROTC. So I don't stress about their electronic usage and set screen limits. I have raised my kids to be responsible for their future and these boys are following in the footsteps of their older brothers who are both successful military adults in the navy.

Adventure Force Dart Blasters gets teens off their devices

 Something magical happens in my house when I get a delivery of Adventure Force Dart Blasters from Walmart. My teen boys take their eyes away from their electric screens, put down their phones, and start looking at the newest features of the dart blasters. Then the begging starts and my boys ask if they can take the blasters out of the box. My boys always promise to not destroy the packaging as they know that mom needs them for pictures.

 I always say yes to my teens who want to have device-free fun. So I let the dart blaster battle happen. My boys each carefully unpack the foam darts, the dart chambers, and the dart guns. Then they load the foam darts into the blasters and start shooting foam darts all over the house. I try to stay out of the way of the battle of the blasters while I watch the fun. I am glad that the foam darts do not hurt as I always seem to be the perfect target for the boys.

Once my boys are done shooting the darts at each other and they have picked them all up, it is mom's turn for some fun. I load the darts of foam back into the dart blaster chambers and shoot them at the boys. If my husband is home, he also joins in. It is the best family time fun!

Having Fun With Adventure Force Dart Blasters

 The new dart blaster season is here and my boys loved checking out the newest Buzz Bee Dart Blasters.

My youngest boys may be teens but they still enjoy having fun with dart blasters. A couple days ago the newest dart blasters from Buzz Bee arrived at my house. The blasters with darts arrived in a big box and my youngest was amazed over the size of the box. Of course, he wanted to know what was in the box. So I told him, something fun.

This mom, did not tell her boys that they would be reviewing the newest dart shooters. I wanted to surprise them. Usually, when a brand asks me if I want to check out new toys with my teen boys, I ask the boys first if they are interested in the toy. When the toy to be review is dart blasters or water shooters, I don't have to ask. My boys love having dart blaster fights and get excited when they get to review them.

 Sure my teen boys have a closet full of blasters with darts but we can always find room for more. It has been a while since we reviewed toys from Buzz Bee, the last blaster that my boys had amazing fun with was last year. You can see that toy review HERE.

Buzz Bee Dart Blasters are the best foam dart shooters

 I allowed my boys to open the big box that contained the newest dart blasters. My boys were so happy as these dart blasters had some new features on them that my boys were excited to check out. I let my boys look at the new dart blasters but since it was a school day, they could not play with them. I told my boys that we would open the boxes up on Saturday. Thankfully Saturday was only a couple days away.

After I took pictures of the dart blasters in the packaging, I let my boys have fun opening up the boxes. I enjoyed watching their excitement as they inserted the foam darts into the blasters. One son said, "Buzz Bee Dart Blasters are the best foam dart shooters," while the other one agreed and said, "they are better than Nerf." 

 These dart blasters had plenty of foam darts along with rapid-fire dart blasting. My boys loved that the shooters could hold an insane amount of foam darts. Even I was getting excited about playing with the new blasters.

 Once my boys loaded up the Adventure Force Triggerfire 30 Dart Drum Blaster and Adventure Force Tetrashot Dart Belt Blaster with all the darts. It was time for some fun. I love that the darts are made from foam, so I did not have to worry about injuries. 

 It was easy to insert all the dart blaster darts into the devices but it did take a while as these blasters held so many darts. So that meant more action fun and less time reloading darts into the guns. 

 My boys decided to play with the blasters inside so they would not lose any of the darts of foam. I liked the boys thinking, even if that meant I would be finding darts everywhere in my house. Where is the strangest place you have found a foam dart from a dart blaster?

The Adventure Force Blasters are so much fun!

 These foam dart blasters were so fun to shoot. My boys were able to rapid-fire the foam darts at each other from across the room. The best part was not having to reload the blasters with more darts. In less than five minutes the floor was covered with tons of dart blaster foam darts.

 My boys had fun shooting at each other and I had fun watching them. They were having fun without electronic devices. I loved that these dart blasters did not need any batteries. When the boys were finished having fun with the blasters, I had to join in on the fun. 

 I loaded up the dart drum and dart belt blaster with the foam darts. Then I had fun firing the darts at my boys. My boys started complaining about all the darts all over the room and said, "mom, you have to pick all the darts up!" The boys had just cleaned up the mess of the darts and did not like the mess I made.

 After I had fun, I cleaned up all the darts from the floor and then place the Adventure Force blasters in the closet. I told the boys that these blasters are my favorite and they better watch out for mom having fun shooting the darts at them.

Wubble Rumblers Now Feature Marvel Heroes and WWE Wrestlers

How to have play fights with no injuries. These inflatables are so fun for kids of all ages

  As a mom to four boys (and one girl), I am quite used to the rough and tumble that comes with raising boys. I have been raising boys for 27 years. Two of my sons are adults and the other two are teens. Boys can be wild and crazy but they are what makes my life exciting. It does not matter what age boys are, they love to wrestle and have battles. So I have learned over the years how to make the play of boys safer. I have also learned how to let boys be boys. Most boys love action play and as a mom, I have learned to set rules when it comes to their wild play so they don't hurt one another.

 I remember when the youngest boys were little and how they would hurt each other with their active play. Their wild play would start out with both of them having fun. Then moments later someone would get hurt and they would not each other. Then I would have to intervene and separate the boys for a while. Once they were done with their time out, my boys would be best buds again and start the wild crazy fun again. I was always busy redirecting their endless energy.\

Teen boys still have plenty of energy

 Now that my boys are older, they love playing games on their devices. Some days I secretly let them veg out on their devices just so I can have a quiet house. I don't feel one bit guilty about not limiting device time right now as I know that once school starts my boys will be busy with homework and school activities. School is starting in a couple of days for my boys so it is all good.

 My boys also have plenty of non-screen time every day as they hang out with friends at the park near our house. While my boys are at the park with friends, they are having fun playing basketball and other sports. Some of the other sports that my boys play while at the park are hockey and soccer.

Wubble Rumblers Marvel Heroes & WWE Wrestlers

If you are a mom of older boys or even girls, you probably are always looking for toys that get them off their devices. Maybe you are looking for a toy that will encourage your kids to exercise or maybe you just need a great birthday present. My youngest loved that Wubble Rumblers featured Marvel characters and was happy that we received an Iron Man inflatable. His new bedroom will be decorated with Marvel superheroes and he has a wall print of Iron Man. So the Iron Man Wubble will look awesome being displayed on his dresser. That is after Iron Man battles The Undertaker® and Daniel Bryan®.

Play fighting with no injuries

 My boys had a blast checking out the newest Wubble Rumblers. These super-sized action-play inflatables were easy to inflate and blew up to an incredible 3 feet tall! The inflatables were squishy, squashy, super soft, and made from lightweight material. So they were perfect for fighting.

 I had to lay down some rules before I let my boys start their epic battle. I told my boys that they could only hit each other Wubble Rumbler and not each other. So that meant no hitting their brother over the head with the wrestler inflatables. They could do wrestler moves like body-slaming the WWE® superstar and they had to have their battle upstairs in their bedroom. That way nothing downstairs got broken.

 The boys had a blast bopping the inflatable action figures. I enjoyed hearing them having fun with adrenaline-pumping, body-slamming fun. They chose not to let Iron Man join in on the fun. That Iron Man would stay in great shape for my son's bedroom. I loved that they were getting some exercise at the same time with no electronic devices.

Fun for ages 6 and up!

Nope, they quickly picked up their blasters and started blasting at their brother. The older brother did not want to be reprimanded again, so he made the younger boys wear goggles and helmets. 

Provide safe toys for play

 So when I shop for toys, I look for toys that minimize the hurt factor. My boys love rough and tumble fun. My boys love and need active play. So when the box of Wubble Rumblers arrived at our house, my boys could not wait to play with them. They wanted to open the boxes up as they were ready to rumble.

 I was not ready to take pictures and I was afraid if I let them blow up the action figures, that they would find a way to pop them. So I told them that they would have to wait a day for their play battle. My boys then drooled over the boxes that contained a Wrestler, Ninja, and Fist Wubble Rumbler. They could not wait to have fun with these squishy, squashy inflatables.

So easy to inflate

Once I was ready to take photos of the Wubble Rumblers, I gave my boys the go-ahead to blow them up. My boys loved that a pump was included with each Wubble Rumbler. So they could each join in on the fun of blowing the Rumblers up. My boys were amazed at how quickly the guys came to life. I was amazed at how big the Rumblers were as they were a gigantic three feet tall!

 As soon as the Wrestler, Ninja, and Fist were filled with air, the boys had to start whacking each other with them. I thought for sure that the Rumblers would pop or someone would get hurt. These amazing guys were made for rough and tumble fun. They were also super soft so no one was getting hurt. I did have to remind the boys that they were supposed to have the Rubblers battle each other and not to wack each other with the inflatable guys.

 My boys had a blast with the Rumblers and I had a hard time getting my boys to stand still for a photo with the Rumblers. My boys had fun posing with their new friends and could not wait to take the  Wubble Rumblers to the park to have a battle with their friends. These cool guys are awesome for play fighting and I knew that they would be a safe way for my boys to have rough and tumble fun with their friends. The boys would also get some exercise with the Wubble Rumblers.

 Right now, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the circle of friends that my boys have is small. These friends are homeschooled and their parents are following the same guidelines that I am when it comes to this crazy virus. My boys are hanging out with these friends at the local park and on occasion at their houses. The six friends are from two different families and I am glad that my boys have friends during these crazy times. 

 So my boys invited their friends to the park up the street to show them these awesome action toys. My boys knew that their friends would love to play with RC cars and Ninjas. The park was a perfect place to drive RC cars as it had plenty of space to drive cars. The Monster Jam Megalodon STORM was made to drive on many different terrains like grass, sidewalks, and even water. So it was a perfect outdoor RC Car, The Air Hogs Stunt Shot and the Ninja Bots were made more for inside but they worked fine on the concrete at the park for our party.

 My boys had fun demonstrating the toys to their friends and showing them how they work. Then they let their friends try the remote control toys.  The Megalodon was super fun to drive around the park. This remote control car could drive on the grass and rocks. Since it was fall and we live in the desert, the boys could not drive the car on water. This car was made for play as it was durable. Ninja Bots

 The Ninja Bots were super fun to play with. These battling bots were super fun to watch as they had silly personalities and sounds. Each robot had its own set of weapons. The boys placed weapons in their robot arms and then set them behind the included shield. Once the shield was lifted the bots made funny sounds and movements as they battled each other. The battle ended with a robot tipping over and the other robot doing a victory dance. It was fun to watch these guys move. My boys had to show me how to make the ninjas make a farting noise. The Ninja Bots require 3 AAA batteries each.

Zing Toys Are Perfect For Backyard Fun

 My boys are bundles of never-ending energy as they never seem to slow down. So I love to provide them with toys that will hopefully burn off some of that energy. I know that I am dreaming as boys never seem to run out of energy. The energy is wasted on boys and I wish I could find a way to get some of that energy.



 The boys have been home for way too long for summer break but our summer has been fun. Our days have been spent playing at the park with friends and time in the backyard. I am glad that the weather has cooled down enough for the boys to spend more time outdoors. Time outdoors means backyard fun. All moms know that backyard fun means awesome toys to keep them outside. It used to be easier to keep the younger boys outside as they loved playing in their kiddie pool or on the swing set. Now that they are older all they want to do is to play on the computer instead of digging in the sandbox. So being that I do not want them having too much screen time and that they gave their sandbox toys to the grandbaby, it was time for some older boy backyard toys. My boys wanted some action toys that the big boys have. They wanted big boy toys! So this mom was glad that Zing Toys sent them some new outdoor toys for boys.

HyperStrike bows can launch arrows up to 250 feet

My boys have tried out archery at summer camp and really enjoyed shooting the arrows. So I was excited to discover that there is a kid-safe version of a bow and arrow that they boys can play with without adult supervision. The HyperStrike has soft foam arrows that shoot like the real ones. Even the bow has the pullback, aim and release action that makes shooting arrows so fun. The boys thought it was so cool that the arrows even whistle as they fly through the sky.

The soft foam arrows hook into the bungee straps and easy to launch. I have never shot a real bow and arrow but I enjoyed playing with the HyperStrike with my boys. I was amazed at how far the arrows flew. My boys even showed me the proper of holding the bow and arrow toy. They were even good sports when it came to fetching the arrows for me to play with after I shot them way across the park. I think this backyard adventure toy is great for their eye, hand coordination.

The battle of the axes

 My boys have had the thrill of throwing axes when they are camping with their dad and they love that mom got them a soft foam ax so they can play ax-throwing inside the house. The Zax foam throwing ax is also perfect for outdoor play. This no adult needed ax is made out of soft foam and has suction cups on it so it sticks to hard surfaces. So no trees are harmed when my boys throw the ax. My boys were amazed at how light the Zax ax is and how comfortable it is to hold in their hands.

 The boys now have two new favorite toys to add to their best birthday gift for boys list. My boys both agreed that these Zing Toys will make awesome birthday presents for their next birthday invitation. Last year it seemed like I was buying a lot of birthday gifts and I like it when I find birthday gifts that are under $20!
