Homemade Peppermint Mouthwash Made With Morning Pep Essential Peppermint Oil

My husband likes using mouthwash for fresh breath. Store bought mouthwash contains preservatives, dyes, artificial sweeteners, and other chemicals. I like like also making homemade mouthwash as I can control the ingredients and it is so much cheaper than store bought. My recipe for mouthwash does a great job of freshening the breath and contains Peppermint Essential Oil, which is a natural antiseptic.

Peppermint Mouthwash
1 cup water
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 drops Morning Pep Peppermint Essential Oil
Clean glass jar with lid

Mix all ingredients in a glass jar and shake well. Shake before using. Pour 1 ounce into your mouth and swish it around for a minute, then spit out. Do not swallow. Store on bathroom counter.
