 I love that companies are listening to consumers and are offering products that are better for families. Softsoap® has introduced a new Earth Blends line and these hand and body products are paraben-free, alcohol-free, and dye-free! That is good news for this mom who has a child who has sensitive skin. I love that these products are made from biodegradable cleaning ingredients and only contain 10 ingredients. The bar soap is even made with plant-based ingredients. So lather, clean, and rinse can be more natural in my house.

Milk + Sass Sweet Treats For Your Hair

   When I opened this pretty pink box, my boys thought that I had received a box of cookies. They were most disappointed when they discovered that these pretty pastel macarons were for my hair. Once I show the boys how these colorful macarons open up to reveal a hairbrush and a mirror, they then wanted one. I told them that I had dibs on the pink and purple Milk + Sass Macaron and that they could share the green one. The oldest of the two younger boys said that his younger brother could have it as he has more hair. The oldest boy has a haircut that requires no combing anyway, I think he just liked that a cookie could be a hairbrush.

                      Sweet treats for your hair!

   I really like how cute these hair brushes were and I was excited to try them. I am a comb girl and never really used a hairbrush but for these pretty Macarons, I was willing to change. These pretty pastel Macarons were made for all types of hair and they promised less breakage and frizz! So I just had to try them on my sometimes curly hair. I loved how easy they were to open and the mirror inside was a plus so I could see my hair as I brush it. The pastel purple cookie brush fit perfectly in my small purse and the pink was look so pretty in my new bathroom! These pretty brushes will be perfect for my next trip.

  A few years ago most people did not know what the words Coding, STEM, or STEAM meant. These words are now huge in the educational system. My boys have taught me so much about Coding, STEM, and STEAM in the last few years. My boys have an advantage in the job fields by learning these items from their teacher. I have seen first hand how STEM and Coding have given my teen an advantage in getting scholarships and college preference. For the past four years, my teen has been building underwater robots, flying high altitude balloons and more in his JROTC unit at high school. His JROTC unit leaders have done a great job of helping my son decide to pursue a career in engineering. My son has a passion for Coding and STEM. My son recently won a huge National Navy ROTC scholarship that will pay for all of his college and I know that his Coding and STEM experiences had a huge part in him receiving this scholarship. My son was also accepted into the Merchant Marines Academy. It is wonderful that my son has two options to choose from. My son also received a 2018 New Mexico Excellence in STEM Award that came with a nice scholarship check. He was even interviewed by the news. As you can tell, I am one proud mom.

  Through all of my older son's experiences, I know that STEM (or STEAM as my younger boys gifted teacher likes to call it) and Coding are so important to start at an early age.
