Florastor Probiotics Supports Healthy Digestion And Is Safe For Children As Young As 2 Months Old

"Disclosure: I am part of the PTPA Brand Ambassador Program with Florastor and I received compensation as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on my blog are my own."

As an adult you know how probiotics can help support a healthy digestion system. Probiotics can help your digestion get back on track after illness or when you take antibiotics. You, as a parent, want your child to have healthy digestion but wonder if giving them probiotics is safe for them. FlorastorKids  is a probiotic that is safe to give to kids as young as two months old but also tough enough for the whole family to use. Kids will love the tutti-frutti flavored powder that dissolves in most drinks or soft foods. Your kids can even eat the powder straight from the packet. I gave my picky eater a taste of the powder and he said "this is good, can I have more?"

FlorastorKids is a dietary supplement that comes in individual packets, that makes it easy to take on the go. This probiotic is great to give to kids as a daily supplement to promote healthy digestion. You can also give your child Florastor while they are recovering from an illness or when they are taking antibiotics to get their digestion back on track.

Here are some facts about Florastor:

          1. Florastor is a yeast-based probiotic supplement (250 mg Saccharomyces boulardii lyo) which is found on the skin of tropical fruits like lychees and mangosteens.

2. FlorastorKids is appropriate for children as young as 2 months.

3. Florastor is vegetarian and gluten-free

4. Florastor does not need to be refrigerated and is not compromised by antibiotic use.

5. There is also a Florastor supplement for adults.

My 6 year old son is having surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids. He will be taking antibiotics after the surgery and be on a soft food diet. His throat will be hurting for a while so he will not be eating properly as he will be enjoying ice cream and popsicles. I will be giving my son FlorastorKids to keep his digestive system running smoothly. I love that I can sprinkle it on his ice cream or mix into a smoothie. The last thing my little one needs is a tummy ache on top of a sore throat. A healthy digestion with FlorastorKids will support his immune system to promote healing after his surgery.

Thanks for sharing this. I routinely recommend probiotics or plain yogurt when to my patients when they have to be on antibiotics for 3 days or more. The gut could use the extra help.

My youngest two had awful tummy troubles when they were little. This would have been nice to give them when they were just wee little.

We all, as a family, take daily probiotics. I truly believe that they strengthen our immune systems, as well as help with IBS and such. Also, it is super important to take them if you have to take an antibiotic - puts the good bacteria back in your system!
