Do your kids love Veggie Tales? If yes then they will love this DVD as the creator of Veggie Tales, Phil Vischer has come out with a new DVD called Buck Denver ask... Why Do We Call It Christmas
I was sent a copy of the DVD to watch with my boys. When I showed them the movie, they got all excited and said " we know who that is, we watch that guy on Saturday morning on the Christian channel!" That makes a mom's heart sing to hear your children say that. My boys let me sleep in on Saturdays and go down to watch TV on their own. They are able to choose what they want to watch and I love that they choose to watch cartoons on the Christian channel over regular cartoons. We don't have cable so the choices usually are super hero's or great cartoons on the Christian channel. I love that my boys favor Christian cartoons for their TV viewing.
So I popped the DVD Buck Denver Asks... Why Do We Call It Christmas? into the DVD player for my boys and I to watch. This DVD was enjoyable to watch and my boys loved it. The DVD had topics that answered great questions like:
-Where do we get the word Christmas?
-When was Jesus born?
-What do Christmas trees have to do with Jesus?
-Who is St. Nicholas?
-What is Hanukkah?
-Who is Emmanuel?
-Luke 2 Story
I evened learned some new information from the DVD. So get this DVD and join VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer along with intrepid newsman Buck Denver and all his friends on an amazing journey into the world's most popular holiday!

I love Phil Phisher. And we had veggie tales in the house when our kids where growing up. If I won this I would give it to one of my nephews. They just had their 3rd child and the parents are really trying to do a good job on raising them Christian without them feeling like it is all about rules.
I would love to watch with my family!
From what I gather from the YouTube video this is a great movie that help kids understand the true meaning of Christmas.
I'd like this for our family so we would learn more about Christmas and its traditions.
