‘What’s Up’ At Boogie Wipes And A Giveaway

Cold and flu season is here whether we like it or not. That means our kids will come down with colds. A cold always brings a runny nose in kids. Most little kids hate getting their nose wiped and that leads to a messy face which then makes wiping the nose with tissue even worse A tissue tends to hurt the nose that is suffering from a cold. So what is a mom to do?

Boogie Wipes and Boogie Mist are here to help! These products are a mom's best weapon for dealing with kids colds. Kids will even love the great scents that they come in. So what are Boogie Wipes and Boogie Mist?

Boogie Wipes are a soft cloth made with saline to dissolve boogies (mucus) caused by the common cold, allergies or otherwise booger-filled kid moments. Extra soft and scented in Great Grape, Fresh Scent, Magic Menthol (for extra stuffy noses), Simply Unscented and Boogieberry, Boogie Wipes are recommended by Pediatricians as a gentle, effective alternative to a dry tissue.

Boogie Wipes also go beyond the nose too. I love Boogie Wipes for wiping messy faces. They are also great for cleaning little hands. I love to use the wipes for cleaning my face after I workout and also at night time before bed. My favorite is the Great Grape scent. Boogie Wipes come in canisters and soft packs. The soft packs are great to keep in the car or your bag. Boogie Wipes are sold online and at stores like Walgreens, Target, and Walmart.

Boogie Mist is a gentle saline mist that you spray in the nose to help remove all that gunk in your child's nose so they can breath better. This saline mist comes in wonderful scents like grape, fresh and unscented. The scent will appeal to your child and allow you to spray the mist in their nose to give them relief.

How about some interesting booger facts that I found on the Boogie Wipe website:

Fun Fact #1: Your nose is the ultimate lean, green, booger producing machine. Your nose makes mucus to prevent dust and pollen from traveling to your lungs. Some mucus is swallowed (about a quart a day) and some stays nestled in your nose. When you breathe dry air into your nose, that mucus is dried and becomes a booger.

Fun Fact #2: The proper term for picking your nose is Rhinotillexomania.Say what? Rhino means “nose,” tillexis means “habit of picking,” and mania means “excessive enthusiasm.” Put them together and you get one enthusiastic nose picker! And just in case you don’t think you’re one of them, one out of four people admit to picking their nose at least once a day.

I just love the new purse size packs that Boogie Wipes come it. They are easy to toss in your purse or diaper bag.

We haven't tried boogie wipers yet. In the past with my kids, I have always used wet wipes and saline mist.

I have heard of it but never used. I am pregnant with my first child and I have heard great things so I made sure I placed items on my registry.
