Holly Clegg's trim &TERRIFIC KITCHEN 101 :Secrets to Cooking Confidence Review + Giveaway

My oldest daughter lives on her own and is learning how to cook. Growing up she never wanted to cook with me so she never developed an interest in cooking. Now that she lives on her own and is soon to be married, she wants to be able to cook a meal and not rely on frozen meals. My daughter surfs the web for recipes but is often unhappy with the results. I discovered a cookbook that will help her learn how to cook better and learn basic cooking skills. Holly Clegg's trim &TERRIFIC KITCHEN 101 :Secrets to Cooking Confidence cookbook also has easy healthy recipes in it.

This awesome cookbook will help my daughter learn to cook with confidence. Her future husband and her will be able to learn how to cook with these 150 easy-to-make recipes. I love that the book is filled with full color -photographs for almost every recipe. The cookbook will teach them the basics of cooking and then give them many wonderful recipes to make for any meal including desserts. The chapters even start with a page of yummy pictures.

The cookbook has chapters like :
Start Simple
Fix It Fast
Ready-Made Menus
Rotisserie Ready Recipes
Crock Pot Cooking
Kitchen basics

This book even has nutritional and diabetic information with symbols letting you know which recipes meet the ADA guidelines. Vegetarians  will love the meatless recipes. My daughter will also learn how to freeze recipes and cooking short-cuts. The cookbook is also available to download on your Kindle or Nook!

I found a wonderful recipe to make for my Thanksgiving dinner. I made a corn pudding that was so simple to make. The recipe used a box of corn muffin mix, frozen corn and can corn along with other simple ingredients. I just mixed up all the ingredients and poured into a baking dish. That was all I had to do to be able to bake it. My family enjoyed the corn pudding. My next recipes to try will be the fish tacos and s'mores cookies among many others before I give this book to my daughter.

Holly Clegg's cookbook also won these awards:

Gold Recipient of prestigious Mom's Choice Award
Award-Winner in General Cookbook' category of 2012, sponsored by USA Best Book Awards, with USA Book News
