How To Make Healthy Cookies With Protein Powder

I have found the perfect healthy snack that satisfies my sweet tooth.

I love cookies and I always seem to crave a cookie with my morning coffee. Coffee and cookies just go together. The problem is cookies are not healthy and I put on five pounds eating lots of cookies from the holidays. I know it is March and the holidays were 2 months ago. The problem is the extra weight in my stomach has not received the message and is still sticking around. I realized that the only way to get rid of the extra weight is to eat healthier and exercise more. Eating healthy for me means no cookies, as that is what started the weight gain in the first place. So how am I going to stop my sweet cookie craving? My mind wants a cookie with my coffee and I am not going to give up my coffee. So what am, I going to do?

I am going to make a delicious healthy cookie that is loaded with nutrition. Last month I made these wonderful delicious No-bake Healthy Protein Bites and my boys loved them. So I tweaked the recipe and added some raisins and sunflower seeds, thus making them just as delicious but more filling and healthier. I also placed them in these cute cupcake holders so that I would only eat one with my coffee. I simply just grab one with my coffee and it takes care of my cookie craving. These healthy cookies are so good that I just had to share them with my friends when they came over for coffee. They just look so pretty on this 3 Tiers Desserts Plate Stand. This stand is perfect for serving treats and makes them look so pretty, like a work of art.

I will get so many uses out of this stainless steel dessert stand. I will use it for our Easter breakfast at church as I can place fruit on it. It will look awesome at my daughter-in-laws bridal shower filled with lots of chocolate candy. This stand will make any table look smashing as the centerpiece. It also easily comes apart for storage when not in use, but I think I will keep it in the kitchen and use it for fruit. That way my boys will eat more fruit. Oh, it also comes in silver too. Wait, this might just look so cute in my bathroom. I could store all my makeup on it. It would also look so nice next to my single cup coffee maker, to hold all the K-cups. The uses are endless.

How would you use this pretty 3 Tiers Desserts Plate Stand?

                           No-bake Healthy Protein Bites

1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup  vanilla protein powder
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1/2 cup smooth natural peanut butter
3 Tablespoon natural honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup raisins
1/3 cup sunflower seeds
2-4 Tablespoons liquid (almond milk, milk, water etc...)

1. Add oats, protein powder,  and chia seeds to a large bowl.
2. Add in peanut butter, honey and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
3. Add in raisins and sunflower seeds. Mixture should be slightly sticky but still crumbly.
4. Slowly add in liquid 1 tablespoon at a time and using hands (get dirty!) combine until it comes together in a sticky ball that holds together. If mixture is too dry, add in more liquid but not so much that it won't hold shape.
5.Place in a container to set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
6. Store in fridge until ready to eat. Makes 16-20 bites.

"These opinions are my own and I received a dessert stand to facilitate this post."

Protein powder makes me envision men with muscles. I'd probably take a bite or two of this and then stop for this insane fear of growing muscles ala Popeye. Silly I know.

These cookies do sound good! Cookies are one of those sweets I crave a lot. I was just thinking of using something like this stand to put in my bathroom for my makeup. It would work so well in holding all of it.

I use protein powder in my cookie recipes ALL THE TIME - it gives them a little UMPH and makes me feel LESS GUILTY for eating about 6 of them, LOL!!!

It's funny to see "healthy" and "cookie" in the same sentence but your recipe holds true! I'll have to try this out for my boys!

May not taste so much like cookies, but it's good to have a healthy option. Throw an egg in it and bake it for a softer texture.
