Celebrate National Coffee Day from the comfort of your home

I received samples from the below companies to facilitate this post

Things are quite different in the year 2020 and the Covid-19 lung virus may be keeping us at home but that does not mean that we can not celebrate our favorite holidays. While many restrictions are being lifted,  most states still are encouraging people to stay home to help stop the spread of a virus that caused a world pandemic. These stay-at-home orders mean that many large events and celebrations have been canceled but that does not mean that we have to stop at home celebrations with our family. We just have to be more creative when it comes to celebrating holidays.

Since I am staying home more, I decided to create a coffee bar. I have seen some unique coffee bars that people have created in their homes and it is something that I have always wanted to do. So now that I have more time on my hands, it was the perfect time to gather all my coffee makers and coffee supplies and put them in one location. While I would love for my new coffee bar space to be in my kitchen, there was no space as my kitchen is small. So I created my new coffee space in my family room which is right next to my kitchen. I have a big nook above my gas fireplace that was not being used so that is my new coffee bar area. So now I can create my coffee drinks easily.

National Coffee Day is not canceled

Wake up and smell the coffee! National Coffee Day is Tuesday, September 29, 2020, and coffee is the drink of choice. This unofficial holiday is a global celebration of one of the best drinks in the world, and you are encouraged to drink coffee all day. Maybe not all day, but at least one or more cups of the amazing cup of Joe.

I like to say that I celebrate coffee every day but one day a year, I celebrate this wonderful drink made from coffee beans with the rest of the world.  If you have been following me for a while, you then know that I love coffee. I love everything about that brown drink that has a wonderful coffee aroma and this year I will still be celebrating National Coffee Day. I may not be heading to the coffee shop to get my free cup of coffee but instead, I will be treating myself to a warm cup of coffee made from the best cold brew coffee recipe in the comfort of my home. To celebrate this special holiday with my readers, I have made a list of new coffee products that I have discovered and also some delicious coffee drink recipes. So brew yourself a cup of coffee and learn about some new ways to enjoy that daily cup of coffee.

The best way to enhance your cup of coffee

Some people may like their coffee black but not me. I like my cup of coffee with flavor and plenty of it. My favorite way to add a touch of sweetness and flavor to my coffee is with Torani coffee syrups. My new coffee bar always has a wide variety of Torani syrups so I can take a plain cup of coffee and make it exciting and filled with flavor. These flavorful coffee syrups come in so many flavors so I can change the flavor of my coffee depending on my mood or the season. Torani brings the coffee house to my house so I don't have to leave my house for a delicious coffee latte or cappuccino. The best part is I don't have to tip the barista.

New Fall flavors

When the weather starts getting cooler, my coffee mood changes, and I start craving pumpkin spice lattes and Salted Caramel Lattes. So I am glad that my coffee bar has Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup and other amazing fall-flavored Torani syrups. A splash of the sweet pumpkin spice Torani syrup along with almond milk transforms my cup of coffee into a delicious pumpkin spice latte.

Torani has four new fall flavors that are sold exclusively at Walmart so you can make some amazing coffee drinks that are perfect for the cool fall weather. These new fall flavors from Torani are also perfect to use in fall recipes like Soft Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies and pumpkin pie. In addition to introducing you to these delicious coffee enhancers, I have three Pumpkin Spice recipe ideas to level up your coffee game at home this fall.

~ Torani Butter Pecan Syrup ~ Torani Cane Sugar Sweetener ~ Torani Pumpkin Spice Syrup ~ Torani Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup

~ Skinny Pumpkin Spice Latte

Add 2 Tbsp. Torani Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Syrup to 2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee) and 1 cup frothed milk.

~ Keto Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Combine 2 Tbsp. Torani Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Syrup with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, 2 shots espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee), and ice.

~ Skinny Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew

Stir 2 Tbsp. Torani Sugar-Free Pumpkin Spice Syrup into 1 cup cold brew and add a splash of cream.

Dalgona Coffee ~ Whipped Coffee Drink

I am a little late to the Dalgona ~ Whipped Coffee Drink party but I finally made this delicious drink. This sweet coffee drink is so creamy and delicious. It is also the perfect drink to celebrate National Coffee Day. I discovered a premium instant coffee that makes the best Whipped Coffee and it is favored by those who love to travel. Alpine Start is an instant coffee that actually tastes good as it is made from premium 100% high altitude Colombian arabica beans. The coffee beans are gently processed to retain flavor. The instant coffee easily dissolves in hot or cold water making it a perfect choice for Dalgona Coffee.

Alpine Start comes in three flavors ~ Original Blend which is a medium roast,  Coconut Creamer Latte, and Dirty Chai Latte. The slim packets are lightweight and compact so they are easy to toss into your bag or pocket for the best cup of coffee on the go. Now you don't have any excuse for spending too much money on a cup of coffee while traveling and you can skip the long line at the coffee shop.

If you have not tried making whipped coffee, you have to make a cup with this instant coffee. This coffee drink is amazing and so delicious. I used the Original Blend to make my Dalgona whipped coffee. To get the recipe with a step by step instructions and also the history on this amazing drink head on over HERE.

Coffee that gives back

Enjoy your cup of coffee at home this year while giving back to the community, locally and globally. You may be enjoying that warm soothing cup of coffee even more on National Coffee Day knowing that your joy is also bringing joy to others. Rising Tides Coffee Co has a mission to source the world's finest beans with their fair trade organic, small-batch, artisan roasted, craft coffee while giving back to unique charities. Rising Tides Coffee Co offers three unique flavors and each bag donates to a unique charity based on how it was created

I love the look of their coffee bags as they are bold and exciting, just like the coffee beans that are in the coffee bag. It was hard to select which variety of coffee to try first as all the descriptions of the coffees teased my tastebuds. I selected the Blue Label from Africa but the Green label from South America and the Pink label that supports women will be in my next shipment. Rising Tides describes the flavor notes in the coffees and they were spot on with the Blue label from Africa. When the coffee arrived at my house, my teen said "that coffee smells good like caramel!"

Description of Blue label coffee from Africa:

The cup is balanced, sweet, and creamy with a sugary mouthfeel; robust citrus flavor with apple, caramel, brown sugar, and green apple.

This exotic, single-origin coffee is harvested along the steep volcanic mountains within the western provinces of Rwanda at an altitude of over 5,900 ft. above sea level.

Healthy Coffee with zero caffeine

In the winter I love a warm cup of coffee after dinner but if I drink even decaf coffee, I won't be able to fall asleep at bedtime as decaf coffee still has caffeine in it. I have tried those coffee teas but they are so weak in flavor and don't have the coffee feel in my mouth. So I am glad to have discovered an all-natural instant herbal coffee that has zero caffeine and tastes like coffee! Dandy Coffee even has the coffee feel in my mouth.

Dandy Coffee, is a coffee alternative that consists of only five ingredients – one of which being the dandelion root. Dandy Blend has zero caffeine (even decaf has 3%) while tasting smooth and creamy just like coffee. I was hesitant to try this instant coffee as it has dandelion root in it but I am glad I did as this coffee alternative is delicious and it has a great creamy foam just like real coffee. This drink tastes like the real thing so I can enjoy the flavor without the side effects of caffeine, like the jitters or sleepless nights.

This alternative coffee beverage even has some amazing health benefits. The dandelion root is a healing herb that helps rid the body of toxins. The mild flavor or dandelion counteracts the  "bite" from the other ingredients in coffee substitutes like chickory.

Relax with a coffee body scrub

After a long day of working at home, you can relax with A CBD Coffee Body Scrub. The CBD Coffee Body Scrub is made with fair-trade coffee from Yirgacheffe, a town in central Ethiopia. These sought-after beans are grown a high-elevation, hand-picked, and then washed for a bright, clean taste and high acidity. Prior to the roasting process, the beans that are too small are often discarded to prevent a bitter taste from over-roasting. Though not suitable for your triple latte, we hated for them to go to waste, thus giving them a new purpose. Although you may be tempted, our CBD-Infused Coffee Body Scrub is not edible even though it smells like literal magic. The coffee scent is awesome!

I+I Botanicals' Coffee Scrub is perfect for gently scrubbing away dead skin cells, increasing blood flow, and reducing the appearance of cellulite to give your skin an even, flawless glow. Additionally, studies have shown that substances in coffee help promote healthy skin by boosting collagen levels and reducing the premature aging of cells. The Irish Moss (Seaweed) is a natural moisturizer that enhances the skin's natural barrier of the skin and blocks out harmful elements. It is also known for its anti-aging effects. Combined with CBD, coconut oil, and shea butter oil, I+I Body Scrub will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.

I am a coffee-lover and my mouth was watering with every photo! I do try different types of coffee out every once in a while, but I honestly prefer it to be just black and strong.
