The Cold & Flu Products You Need For A Sick Day

 Cold & flu season is tough on little ones and their parents. Having a sick child is not fun. It is a tough job, from having to take off the day from work to keeping kids happy. Then there is the mad rush to the store to buy all the tissues and cold medicines. Keep reading to discover all the essential products that you need to buy for a simple sick day. These are the items that you will be glad you have on hand to keep kids comfortable, entertained, and on the mend.


Your child wakes you up in the middle of the night with a cough or worse yet a stomach issue. You grab the thermometer and realize that they have a fever. Your child is miserable and they need their mom. So super mom springs into action and does everything she needs to do for a day at home with a sick child.

You call into work and let them know that you are taking a sick day. Then you call the school or daycare. Your next step is to figure out what you need to make your child feel better. From cold medicine to a comfy spot in front of the TV, I have a simple sick day schedule with essential products that you will want to follow. It may just make your day a bit less stressful. 

Grab a box and fill it up with these essential sick-day products

 Be prepared for your child's next sick day and make a sick day box. Fill the box up with products that will help your child feel better. Then store this box in a closet so you won't have to run to the store with a sick child. Sure you can get things delivered to your home but after a night without sleep, your brain won't remember what to buy.

 Of course, you will want to buy items like tissues, cold medicine, and a thermometer for your box, but I have a list of other items that you may not have considered. I also have a sick day schedule that may help you keep your child entertained but keep in mind that you don't have to be strict with it. If your child decides to sleep, then count your blessings and do the activities as needed.

7:00 AM Morning Boost ~ Kick off the day with Swanson’s immune-strengthening supplements like Vitamin D and Vitamin C.

I just grabbed a few cold and flu items the other day. I still have a lot of products I had on hand since COVID, I'm a firm believer in staying stocked up for us and the grandkids. I do need one of those warm pal's.

One of my customers bought my new grand baby one of the Warm pal cuddly toy. Hers is infused with lavender and you can heat it in the microwave. I love your sick day agenda.
