How To Protect Your Toothbrush From Bacteria With IntelliDent & A Giveaway

Do you know how clean your toothbrush is? Chances are it is not too clean and has germs on it. Did you know that flushing a toilet can release a fine mist of airborne droplets that settle on surfaces within a six foot radius of the toilet? I know you may close the toilet lid, but what about other people like your kids. You say that you store your toothbrush in a cabinet, well a dark enclose space in a damp bathroom can bread germs. Don't get me started on those shared cups that houses the families toothbrushes, they are germ breeders too.

Now that I have grossed you out, what can we do about germs on our toothbrush. You can get the IntelliDent Toothbush Shield and block those germs from reaching your toothbrush. This shield is a cloth pocket that  goes over your toothbrush and is designed to block bacterial and viral contact through a superior filtration. The unique fabric wicks moisture away from the head of brush, drying the toothbrush. The shields are laboratory tested to be 99.9% effective against airborne and surface bacteria.

Each shield is individually wrapped and lasts for 7 days. The toothbrush shields are also great for traveling. These shields are so much better than those plastic toothbrush covers. Plastic covers retain moisture and constrict airflow making them a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. You can even use them at work. So protect your toothbrush from germs and use IntelliDent Toothbrush Shields. You can find them at Walmart, leading pharmacy chains, and Drugstore.com. They also make shields for mouth guards and retainers.

I learned that the company also makes disposable covers for mouth pieces which would be AWESOME for my daughter's retainer, much better than the plastic case.

Studies show that an exposed toothbrush, mouth guard or dental appliance is subject to multiple surface and airborne microbes. You are at risk for contamination when these items are not protected or stored properly.

This really does look fantastic for traveling. It seems so much safer than wrapping your toothbrush up in a plastic bag, because you're not really keeping any germs away.
