Packing Cubes Makes Traveling With Kids Easier

When we travel my younger boys always share a suitcase.

My family will be traveling to California early next year. We are so excited as it means a trip to Disney Land. The younger boys have never been to Disney Land. They have been to Disney World but they were 2 months and 18 months then.  There will be six of us going and we only have five suitcases. That means the younger two boys will have to share a suitcase. That can cause problems as the boys wear the same size clothes and the younger of the two always forgets which clothes that he packed and takes his brother's clothes. The older of the two boys is super picky and will only wear certain clothes so sharing a suitcase can be a nightmare. This trip I got smart and purchased Packing Cubes to make things easier with sharing a suitcase. I know I could have just bought each boy their own suitcase but their clothes are still small and they all fit in one suitcase. I had each son choose which color of Packing Cubes they wanted. One chose teal and the other chose pink(he is a boy after his mom's heart as he loves the color just like me.)

I received two sets of packing cubes from Eat Smart to facilitate this post

What are Packing Cubes?

The TravelWise Packing Cube System is a travel essential that allows clothes to stay folded and neat when packed in their own "small drawers". The cubes are fantastic for staying organized on both short and long trips and help travelers avoid over packing. Constructed of lightweight, durable nylon, these multi-sized cubes compartmentalize similar items to streamline packing.

The Cubes came in a set of three different sizes. So I used the larger one for shorts, the medium one for shirts, and the smaller one for socks and underwear. I was amazed that I was able to fit all their clothes into the packing cubes as they needed clothes for 5 days. I was sure glad that they would be wearing shorts for this trip. I found that rolling the clothes allowed me to fit more into the cubes. Once the cubes were packed with all the boy's clothes, they fit so nicely into their suitcase with plenty of room for other items like shoes and personal care items. I just love how organized their suitcase is!

When we get to the hotel, the boys can then place their Cubes into a dresser drawer. These Packing Cubes will also make getting dressed every day so much easier for the boys. The Cubes will also make it easier for the boys to know which clothes are the clean ones too as I will instruct them to place the dirty clothes in another dresser drawer. These Packing Cubes are so smart. The best part is there will be no more fighting over who brought what clothes.

These Packing Cubes come in 8 different colors so I might just have to get some for the other family members. Do you want to pack smart for your next vacation?  Go here to see all the colors and get your own Packing Cubes.

I love packing cubes! I've been looking for luggage that will pack my things neatly because I apparently don't have the patience to do it. Lol! I adore the colors of these, they're super vibrant. The Candy Crush suitcase you have is adorable.

Okay, I NEED THESE! We haven't done much traveling with the twins yet, since they're only 15 months old. But we will be eventually, and these would really help us stay organized!

I tried packing cubes for the first time about a year and a half ago and they TOTALLY made all the difference. It was so much easier to keep track of clothes and stuff fit in the suitcase SO much easier.

I have these cubes in my shopping cart but have yet to hit buy. I need to just get them because I hate packing and I know these would help take away a bit of the dread.

Well those are kinda genius! My kids like to pack their own stuff, in their own ways, and it doesnt always fit well so this would be perfect!
