JOOKI Streaming Wifi Music & Story Speaker For Kids

Looking for a kid-friendly wifi music player? The new Jooki speaker is a wireless screen-free music/audiobook player is perfect for kids.

I received a Jooki in exchange for a feature on Mom Knows Best

Meet Jooki -- the first kids’ speaker with streaming music and audio capabilities. The new Jooki speaker is a wireless screen-free music/audiobook player with a Spotify connection. Featuring Jooki’s patented NFC-enabled ToyTouch® Technology, Jooki lets kids operate the speaker independently using figurines or tokens as a remote control that triggers playlists that parents preset with a few clicks on the Jooki app. Guided by Montessori education principles, the award-winning Jooki player connects through Wi-Fi for music and audiobook streaming and Bluetooth for wireless headset listening, helping parents empower their children to develop creativity, independence, and emotional awareness through the child’s own access to a wide range of pre-selected songs, music, and stories. Faster, lighter, and better, Jooki Generation 2 is magic at a kid’s fingertips!

Kids love using mom's and dad's electrical devices for entertainment. The problem is devices like smartphones and tablets can be dropped or broken. Electronics also can be hard to monitor and children can end up on inappropriate websites or worse yet make phone calls to 911. While smart devices and screens are a great form of entertainment for kids, they are not always the best options for young children.

Too much screen time on devices is not a good thing for kids.

I was happy to discover a device for my grandchildren called the Jookie. This amazing wireless screen-free music player allows kids to listen to their favorite music and favorite stories. The best part is mom and dad have complete control over what they are listening to.

Jooki Connects with Spotify

Jooki embraces the modern way to consume music through Spotify streaming, unlike many other children’s speakers that operate with CDs. Jooki lets kids listen to the audio content that they want, whenever they want: Spotify and MP3 audio files of music, songs, and stories can be imported offline or streamed directly from the speaker.

Jooki is a smart device

This unique children's speaker helps kids develop skills like creativity, independence, and emotional awareness. To be able to listen to music or a story kids simply place a token on the Jooki player. So parents can decide when children can use Jooki which can help limit screen time. Jooki can be used to help kids learn or for screen-free entertainment.

Jooki Features:

·  Wireless screen-free portable music and story speaker made for kids.

·  ToyTouch® Technology: playlists start when a colorful RFID-enabled figurine or token is placed on Jooki.

·  Plays Spotify content and local MP3 audio files.

·  Wi-Fi enabled.

·  Bluetooth connection to wireless headsets

·  Volume limited to protect kids’ hearing.

·  Easy control knobs for kids to switch tracks, adjust volume, and turn Jooki on and off.

·  The Jooki app lets parents easily associate Spotify playlists with tokens and figurines.

·  USB-C charging with built-in battery for 8 hours of playtime.

· Lighter, faster, and better than the first generation of Jooki.

· Ages 3 and up.

I decided that Jooki would be a great Christmas present for my granddaughters. My grandbabies are 1 and 3 years old so Jooki is an age-appropriate gift for them. This device can be used for so many different things. Their mom can fill the Jooki up with all their favorite kid songs and stories. Then when mom decides that they can use Jooki, she gives them the appropriate token to start the listening fun. Jooki can be used at home, in the car, and even at the grocery store. This kid device is portable and durable.

The Jooki is also simple for kids to use, so mom can use Jooki for entertainment when she needs to get stuff done. Right now the oldest grandchild is being potty trained and her reward for going potty is to hear her favorite song. After my grandchild goes potty, mom can hand her a Jooki token to listen to music. Jooki can also be great for bedtime music or stories.

So now parents don't have to worry about kids damaging their electronic devices or worry about kids ordering things on Alexa while asking the smart speaker to play their favorite song. The Jooki music speaker is made for kids but controlled by the parents. So mom and dad decide when and what kids listen to.

A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN IS IN MOVIE THEATERS THIS CHRISTMAS

This Christmas experience A Journal For Jordan, a film based on a true story of love beyond words, directed by Denzel Washington, and starring Michael B. Jordan and Chanté Adams. Exclusively in movie theaters December 25.

When I saw the official movie trailer for A Journal For Jordan, I knew that it was a movie that I needed to watch. This is a feel-good movie that is perfect for the holidays. A Journal For Jordan is based on a true story and is a wonderful love story. It is a guy who meets a girl, falls in love, gets married, and has a baby kind of love story with an ending that will leave you speechless. This is my favorite kind of movie to watch.

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Mom Knows Best & Review Wire Media for Sony Pictures.

A Journal for Jordan is a tender introduction, a loving goodbye, a reporter’s inquiry into her soldier’s life, and a heartrending reminder of the human cost of war. This is a movie that will make you laugh and cry. I am so glad that A Journal For Jordan will be at my local movie theater on December 25th as I can't wait to see it.

While I love romance stories, my husband and boys do not. So my perfect plan is to head to the movie theater with my family for a family movie night. Then we will separate into different movie screen rooms. The boys can watch Sing 2 while I enjoy A Journal For Jordan by myself. That way I can immerse myself in the movie without the boys annoying me. It is at times like these, that I wish I had another daughter who would hang out with me to watch movies.

This is a movie that you must see. I love movies that are based on true stories. It just makes them more special to watch. This movie shows a father’s love for his unborn son. It shows how a journal, that a father took time to write in, can help a child learn about his dad and help his wife get over her husband's death. You have to watch the trailer for the movie.

In Theaters December 25, 2021

Directed by Denzel Washington and starring Michael B. Jordan with a screenplay by Virgil Williams, A JOURNAL FOR JORDAN is based on the true story of First Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child. A sweeping account of a once-in-a-lifetime love, the film is a powerful reminder of the importance of family. PG-13

Sing 2 Is A Fun Family Movie You Will Want To See

Looking for a movie that the whole family will enjoy? Sing 2 is in Theaters December 22, 2021

The holidays are a time for families to come together and spend time with each other. One of my family's favorite activities is watching movies together. It is a treat to be able to head to a movie theater to watch a movie in person. Last year with the pandemic movie places were all closed, we missed being able to sit in those comfy chairs watching a movie on the big screen. Enjoying a bucket of popcorn and spending time with my boys while enjoying an awesome movie. I love that we have the chance to support movie theaters, now that our movie theaters are open for business.

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Mom Knows Best & Review Wire Media for Universal Pictures.

The one movie that my boys have been wanting to watch on a movie theater screen is Sing 2. So with the kids on a school break for the winter, I decided that Sing 2 would be a great movie for the family to enjoy at our local movie theater. Sing 2 is in Theaters on December 22, 2021, and will be an awesome movie to see before Christmas.

Sing 2 Synopsis

This holiday season, the new chapter in Illumination’s smash animated franchise arrives with big dreams and spectacular hit songs as the ever-optimistic koala, Buster Moon, and his all-star cast of performers prepare to launch their most dazzling stage extravaganza yet …all in the glittering entertainment capital of the world. There’s just one hitch: They first have to persuade the world’s most reclusive rock star—played by global music icon Bono, in his animated film debut—to join them. Rated PG

My boys and I have watched the original Sing animated comedy movie and it was a great movie. We just loved the singing animal characters in the first sing movie. So my family is ready to watch Buster and his friends perform on stage again. I loved watching the official trailer of Sing 2 and other videos that were on the Sing Movie website.

I just love the scene with Meena and Mike being so excited to perform in the Entertainment Capital of the World. The place represents a city in the USA that I have traveled to so seeing all the lights and signs of the city just brings back good memories of a family vacation. I enjoyed watching the Sing 2 videos and admit that I may have watched them several times.

Sing 2 combines dozens of classic rock and pop hit songs, electrifying performances, breathtaking artistry, and Illumination’s signature humor and heart into the definitive feel-good cinematic event of the year

The Sing 2 movie combines dozens of classic rock and pop hit songs that I know that I will enjoy listening to while watching the movie. So if I sing out loud while watching the Sing 2 movie, I hope that my teen boys don't get too embarrassed or tell me to hush. I know that my husband will also enjoy the music in the Sing 2 movie as these are songs that he grew up with.

So enjoy the official Sing 2 movie trailer and make plans to see Sing 2 on December 22 at your favorite movie theater. Then head to the Sing 2 website for more videos and information about the Sing 2 movie. You can even discover the showtimes and purchase your Sing 2 movie tickets. This is a movie that your family will enjoy.

DIY Wonderful Halos Snowman Craft

Create your very own snowman, just in time for the holidays. With its vibrant pop of color, this craft makes for the cutest holiday decoration that your kids can both enjoy and eat!

My family enjoys eating Wonderful Halos mandarins in the winter as they are a great healthy snack. These small orange fruits are easy to peel and so sweet. My boys love that they are seedless. These mandarins may be small but they are packed with plenty of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a must-have vitamin for the winter months as it helps boost your immune system to help your body stay well. If you are looking for other ways to boost your child's immune system check out these immune health tips.

So make sure to buy plenty of delicious Wonderful Halos for snacking and for school lunches. Wonderful Halos also make the perfect treat for kids to bring to school holiday parties. The Halos are already wrapped so they need no preparation. These delicious mandarins also are perfect for winter parties as you can use them to create cute holiday snowmen for a holiday decoration. They are the holiday decoration that can also be a snack. Kids will enjoy making the holiday snowman and enjoy eating them. A couple of months ago my boys enjoyed making these Chocolate Jack-O-Lanterns for snacks.

Ideas for Wonderful Halos Mandarin Craft | Holiday Snowman

+ Use as a place card for a holiday dinner - have the snowman hold a small name card

+ Decorate your holiday table

+ Place the snowman on the table with the food

+ Enjoy as an afternoon snack

+ Give as a gift

+ Use as a craft to keep kids entertained

These cute mandarin snowmen are fun to make. They are an easy craft that kids will enjoy making. The Halo snowman craft only requires a few simple supplies and many of them you probably already have around the home. The best part about this craft using Halo mandarin oranges is being able to eat them after you make them. These snowmen will encourage your children to eat more fruit and are an immune system-boosting snack. I like to create several of the mandarin snowmen snacks and store them in the fridge. That way my kids can grab an adorable fruit snowman when they are hungry. If you are looking for more healthy afterschool snack ideas that kids will eat, check out this article.

Supplies need to create the Mandarin Craft Holiday Snowman

● Small cardboard tube

● Scissors

● Black paint

● Paintbrush

● Black heavy paper

● Wonderful Halos mandarins

● Cloves

● Carrot

● Grape stems

● Toothpicks

● Yarn or felt

● Shredded coconut

You don't need to spend a lot of money on craft supplies to make the orange snowmen. A toilet paper or paper towel tube is needed to make the snowman hat. The nose is made from a carrot, just like a snowman made from snow. For the eyes, you use spices and the arms are made from grape stems. If you don't have grape stems you can use a clean small twig or even toothpicks.

This is a craft for kids that encourages healthy eating. I like to buy plenty of carrots and oranges for the fruit craft. That way my kids can snack on the fruits and veggies while making the fun holiday craft. Even grown-ups can get in on the fun with this healthy food craft. These cute fruit snowmen are great for holiday parties for decorations and for eating.

Wonderful Halos Mandarins are

+ Delicious

+ Loaded with vitamin C

+ Healthy

+ A nutritious snack

+ Contain fiber

+ Easy to peel

+ Sweet

+ Seedless

So head to the store and purchase the Wonderful Halo mandarin oranges along with any other craft supplies that you may need. While the original craft does not list shredded coconut, make sure to grab a bag of shredded coconut at the store. The shredded coconut can be used for snow. Just sprinkle the shredded coconut on a plate and then place the snowman on top. The best part is kids can also eat the snow that is made from coconut.

Wonderful Halos Mandarin Craft | Holiday Snowman 2021

Supplies

● A recycled cardboard tube (from aluminum foil, plastic wrap, paper towels, or toilet

paper)

● Scissors

● Black paint

● Paintbrush

● Black heavy paper or card stock

● Round object to trace, 3” wide (such as a jar cap or the inside of a roll of masking tape)

● 3 Wonderful Halos mandarins

● 9 Cloves

● Small piece of carrot, cut into a small conical carrot shape

● Small clean twigs (or grape stems if you want to keep your snowman edible)

● Toothpicks or wooden skewers

● A thick piece of yarn or felt cut to 11”

Instructions:

1. Cut off a 1 ¼” piece of the cardboard tube and paint it black.

2. While drying, make the hat brim. Trace a circle, around 3” in diameter, and cut it out.

Use the cardboard tube to trace another circle in the center of your large circle and cut it

out to make a donut shape. Use the tube to trace one more small circle for the hat top

and cut it out. Glue the small circle to the top of the painted tube piece and the donut

shape to the bottom.

3. Push in two cloves to make the eyes and four for the mouth. Use a toothpick to poke a

hole where you want the nose to go and push in the small carrot.

4. Press three cloves in the second mandarin for buttons and push in twigs (or grape

stems) for arms.

5. Stack the three mandarins together and pierce toothpicks or skewers in as needed to

help them stand up.

6. Loosely tie the yarn or felt around the snowman’s neck to make a scarf. Place the hat on

top. You can add a toothpick to the top of the head to help stabilize it.

TIP: Instead of cloves, you can use a black food coloring marker to draw the eyes, mouth and

buttons.

NOTE: Make sure to remove all the toothpicks before eating!
