I work hard to keep my family "heart healthy" and it takes many different things to do so. The first thing I do is feed my family healthy meals and that starts with buying healthy food at the store. I always fill up my cart with plenty of fruits and veggies along with whole grains and lean sources of protein. Campbells soup has many varieties of soup that are Heart Healthy like Chunky chicken noodle and Homestyle Italian-Style Wedding.
I then try to set a good example to my family by exercising 5 days a week. My boys from a very early age went out running with me. First in the stroller and then biking while I ran. My 14 year old is now on the track team and we run together. My boys know the importance of eating healthy and exercising. They know their body feels better when they make good choices in health.
