What if we put an end to all this craziness and instead learn to love our natural beauty. Let's stop with the anti-aging routines and instead focus on pro-aging. Think of all the time that you could save if you stopped using so many beauty and make--up products.
Natural skin is beautiful
My middle son just graduated from college and was home for a couple of weeks. I was sent a box of various lip products like lipstick and since I don't wear makeup, I offered to my son to give to his new girlfriend. My son responded back with the most beautiful words that a guy could say. "My girlfriend does not wear makeup and does not need to as she is beautiful without makeup!"
It felt so good to hear my son say that girls don't need to wear makeup to look pretty. These beautiful words from my son made me question why we ladies spend so much time on our skincare routines. From waking up hours early to apply makeup to spending way too much time before bed with all those bottles of beauty products. What if there was a simpler way to have beautiful skin?
Beautiful skin starts with a healthy diet and daily exercise. While makeup can make you look different, do you feel comfortable with a naked face? Would you feel comfortable sharing your naked face online? Maybe it is time to take better care of your skin with this 5-Step Skin Care Routine For Beautiful Skin.
I received samples and information from Essential Skin Care to facilitate this post.
STEP 1 - CLEANSE
The most important step to beautiful skin starts with daily cleansing of the skin. So many things like pollution, dirt, and sweat accumulate on our skin. The build-up of impurities on our skin can make it look dull and unhealthy. To maintain a vibrant complexion, consider incorporating quality exfoliating products into your skincare routine to effectively remove dead skin cells and reveal a more radiant glow. make sure to wash your face with a cleanser that is made with natural ingredients and contains lactic acid. Lactic acid helps to gently exfoliate the dead skin cells. An Exfoliating Cleanser With Lactic Acid will remove impurities on the surface, refresh, rejuvenate, and instantly brighten the skin.
STEP 2 - USE SERUM
A serum with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid will help smooth out wrinkles and protect your skin against the environment. Hyaluronic acid is like a big drink of water for your skin cells. So it will help dry skin look more revitalized and rejuvenated as it helps minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Use a small amount of serum on cleansed skin and gently rub it in to help it fully absorb into the skin. Then wait 1-2 minutes before you apply your moisturizer.
STEP 3 - USE A MOISTURIZER
Healthy skin needs moisturizer to look nice. Think of dried-out leather and how conditioning it makes it look better. Look for a moisturizer that can be used both day and night. One loaded with antioxidants and natural ingredients is always best for your skin. Moisturizer will promote elasticity and increase hydration. The antioxidants will help protect against the environmental effects on your skin. Moisturizers can help your skin feel soft and smooth. A moisturizer with ingredients like mandelic, Lactic & Glycolic Acid, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid will help with skin cell renewal to help with wrinkles and fine lines. Initial dryness can occur with these ingredients so be patient and gradually build up your tolerance.
STEP 4 - PM TREATMENT
Use a Retinol Treatment at night to increase skin cell turnover, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and fade brown spots. It also will help improve texture and is great for acne-prone skin. Use a retinol product at night after you wash your face. Then apply your moisturizer.
STEP 5 - EXFOLIANTS/MASKS
Exfoliant scrubs can help remove dead skin cells and that can help shrink pores and improve the texture of your skin. A hydrating overnight mask will help your skin feel soft, smooth, and perfectly rejuvenated. While hydrating masks give the best results if left on overnight, even 20 minutes can help improve the skin. Look for ones formulated with Lactic acid, omega fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. Exfoliant scrubs and masks can be used 2-3 times a week.
Looking for extra help with wrinkles and fine lines?
As we age, our skin produces less collagen, and that can bring on wrinkles and fine lines. So having a natural skin care treatment that stimulates the production of collagen is always a good thing. My beauty secret to beautiful skin at 57 is a facial skin care laser device called NIRA. This 2-minute-a-day beauty treatment helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating the production of collagen. The NIRA Skincare Laser is FDA-cleared and clinically proven. It is a painless at-home skin care treatment. To see my review click here. What I love most about the NIRA skincare device is this company offers Guaranteed Results In 90 Days or Your Money Back.

I need to get some of these. I do have a serum that I use nightly that seems to help! But I know I need more.
I always use serum and moisturiser on my face. That laser device sounds interesting. I'll check out the review x
You have really amazing skin, thanks for sharing these tips.
Awwe that was so sweet of your son! You know how to raise them! I love all of these skin care tips and do them myself! I should probably exfoliate my skin more though.
I need to try that laser device. I can't stand this one stubborn fine line between my eyes!
Wow! I think I really need to get that facial skin care laser! I’m surely gonna check this out!
Sounds like a proud moment with your son, great job! As for the skin care routine, it looks pretty sound, serums are sometimes hard to remember to include with the routine unless I have everything all lined up, to be honest, but that NIRA device looks interesting!
Thanks for sharing these steps! I really need to get some of these specially that facial laser!
This is very helpful! Thank you so much for sharing this. I will have to try it!
I love a simple skincare routine, too. In fact, I don't have any routine at all -- just keeping my skin clean.
You look amazing, I'm all about the correct skin care. I do appreciate you sharing these steps.
I need to use more often face masks and to try a serum. I've heard so many good things about the serum.
I have been slacking on my skincare routine. I'll have to try that serum.
