Southside Market & Barbeque Sausage Slammers Husband Review

 My husband's love language is food. Give him meat and he is happy. The Sausage Slammers from Southside Market & Barbeque did not disappoint his taste buds.

 My husband is a meat eater while I am not, so mealtime in our house can be so different. Throw in my many food allergies and that leaves us cooking many different items for dinner. I say us because my husband also loves cooking. While most of the items on the table are shared by everyone, it is the meat that never ends up on my plate. It used to be that I did not eat meat as I was following a vegetarian diet but now it is due to the soy allergy that I discovered through a food allergy blood test, several years ago. Animals can be fed soy protein.

 So when I get an opportunity to review meat, my husband gladly eats the meat for a review. My husband is a meat connoisseur and wants to eat only the best types of meat. The types of meat that get my husband are steak and barbecue. So when the box came from Southside Market & Barbeque, my husband could not wait to check it out. The word Barbeque got him drooling.

Southside Market & Barbeque Sausage Slammers

My husband loves the smell of barbeque and often refers to the scent ~ as a pleasing aroma that God loves. If my husband gets to choose his favorite restaurant to eat at, it is always a place that serves BBQ meats. From ribs to smoked meats, my husband wants it all for his favorite meal. Since we live in New Mexico, it can be hard to find a good place that sells barbeque meats. 

 So I am glad that I discovered Southside Market and my husband is so happy that they deliver. Southside Market & Barbecue has several restaurants in Texas so visiting their restaurants would mean a very long road trip that my husband would say yes to. I am not a fan of road trips, so I am glad that Southside Market delivers their delicious barbeque meats to the home.

 I ordered the Southside Markets Sausage Slammers for my husband as I knew that my husband would love them. Meat that contains cheese and fresh jalapenos along with bacon, is a meat lover's dream! Just read the below description of the sausage slammers from the Southside Market & Barbecue website.

Sausage Slammers are easy to cook in many ways

 The Sausage Slammers came ready to cook and my husband was glad that the instructions came with multiple cooking instructions. From grilling to baking in the oven along with sauteeing and smoking, he was glad for the many cooking options. 

 Since it was winter and cold outside, my husband choose to cook the Sausage Slammers in the oven. These sausages were ready to eat after 30 minutes in the oven. While the sausages were cooking in the oven, my husband enjoyed the awesome aroma of BBQ.

A home-cooked Barbeque meal for happiness

 While the bbq sausages were baking in the oven, I put the finishing touches on the barbeque side dishes. I served the Slammers with cole slaw and potatoes. This was the perfect meal for Sunday supper!

 The next time I cook the sausages for my husband, I will make my delicious Pressure Cooker BBQ Baked Beans, as BBQ always goes good with baked beans. I will also make a loaf of my 60 Minute Homemade White Bread as well as some corn. 

 The yummy Sausage Slammers from Southside Market & Barbeque are Gluten Free and contain no MSG. My husband said that they were packed with flavor and the perfect amount of heat from the jalapenos. Once the meal was over, my husband said that I needed to order some more BBQ meats from Southside Market. I told my husband that there were several more packages of the delicious Sausage Slammers in the freezer for several more meals.
