My Top Ten Favorite Products At Expo West 2025

This is my 4th year attending Expo West and it was an amazing time. I was able to sample plenty of healthy natural products and learn about new products.

Expo West is a once-a-year event in Anaheim California which is all about natural, organic, and healthy products. This is the event that shapes the healthy living industry and helps buyers decide which products they want to sell in their business. Expo West provides an invaluable opportunity for folks to connect face-to-face with retailers, investors, business leaders, influencers, and more. I was thrilled that I was able to attend this event to connect with brands and discover new products.

As a person who is passionate about healthy living, attending Expo West is like visiting Disney Land. I love connecting with like-minded people and learning about new products that will be available in the natural food markets. There is so much to see and so many products to sample. This is the event where I meet new brands and learn about the latest trends in the health and fitness industry.

I always leave the event with plenty of new information on how to live a healthy lifestyle. With over 3000 brands showcasing their products, I also get plenty of samples to take home to share with my family. My teen boys love sorting through my suitcases and grabbing healthy snacks along with new fitness products.

My Top Ten Favorite Products at Expo West 2025

I have had the privilege of attending Expo West since 2022 and I was overjoyed that I was selected to attend this year. This is the event that I love attending as a person who has food allergies as I always discover new products that are safe for me to eat. Last year I was focused on discovering healthy allergy-friendly products at Expo West. This year my focus was my top ten favorite products, which also included products that my family loved.

1. Felicia Pasta - Last year Felicia sent me a box of their buckwheat pasta and I used it to make a salmon pasta salad. I was excited to see what other gluten-free pastas they made and made sure to stop by their booth for take-home samples. Felicia is more than a gluten-free pasta brand as they use better-for-you ingredients in their product.

Felicia is a next-generation better-for-you pasta brand that has a diverse range of nutritious pastas made from 100 percent natural, organic, and allergen-free ingredients such as spirulina, buckwheat, oat, brown rice, chickpea, and red lentil. In addition to using high-quality, wholesome ingredients, the brand is committed to sustainable production practices, responsible natural resource management, and the use of upcycled materials from a circular economy. I am excited to make spinach walnut pasta with this pasta.

2. Gimmee Seaweed - I love seaweed and use it for many recipes like my Southwestern-style sushi burritos and vegan tuna salad. So I always stop by the Gimme Seaweed booth to discover their new flavors and to grab some samples. Since I live in New Mexico, my stores do not carry all the flavors of seaweed that Gimme makes.

Gimme’s umami-rich roasted seaweed snacks are USDA Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, only 30 calories per serving, and an excellent source of vitamins B12 & K and iodine. Gimme will be sampling all of their existing products in addition to their NEW Korean BBQ and Chili Lime roasted seaweed snacks in Grab & Go format, which will be hitting shelves this spring.

3. MALK Organics - I usually make my own dairy-free milk with my Nutr milk machine but if I had to buy a plant-based milk at the store, I would select MALK organic milk.

MALK is on a mission to deliver the cleanest plant-based milk possible. Unlike other plant-based kinds of milk, MALK products have no gums, fillers, or oils. This brand has a wide variety of plant milks made from almonds. oats, and cashews. They even have plant-based coffee creamer. MALK is also introducing coconut milk and soy milk later this year.

4. Vermont Smoke & Cure Meat Sticks - My oldest teen and husband love jerky so I always make sure to grab samples of healthier options of meat sticks for them when I attend Expo West. My teen and husband loved the taste of Vermont Smoke and Cure Meat Sticks, so I added them to my favorite list.

Vermont Smoke & Cure snack sticks are free from artificial colors and flavors frequently found in other jerky and meat stick products. The flavors of each meat stick are complex and satisfying, the result of a natural slow-cooking and slow-smoking process and their signature spice blend. These meat sticks are a healthy snack option for my teen to eat while at school.

5. Kuli Kuli - I was introduced to this brand many years ago at another event and their superfood lattes caught my attention in the expo hall. They had a superfood latte made with Ube and it tasted so good.

Kuli Kuli makes superfood drinks with amazing health benefits. I love how the superfood Ube gives the latte a pretty purple color while having heart benefits. Their Vanilla Lavender uses blue spirulina for its pretty blue color and contains chamomile and passionflower for sleep benefits. These plant-based drinks also come in Strawberries & Creme for digestion support and Match Moringa for vitality.

6. Goodie Girl Animal Crackers - Having a wheat allergy can be tough and it means missing out on childhood favorites like animal crackers. When I discovered that Goodie Girl had a gluten-free animal cracker, I was so excited. These cookies taste so similar to regular animal crackers that my teen loves them.

Goodie Girl gave me a full-size box of their animal crackers as well as some sample packs. When my teen saw the cookies in my suitcase, he tried to eat them but I told him they were mine. I told my son that I just bought him a bag of regular animal crackers. Goodie Girl Cookies is dedicated to creating delicious cookies and snacks that are gluten-free and peanut-free.  These delicious cookies do not contain any artificial preservatives or high-fructose corn syrup.

7. Once Again Gluten-Free Graham Crackers - My wheat allergy used to mean that I could not enjoy smores at summer parties. That all changed when I discovered that Once Again now sells their delicious gluten-free graham cracker sandwiches without peanut butter on them.

So now I can bring my vegan chocolate and Once Again Gluten-Free Graham Crackers to summer parties to make allergy-friendly smores. These are the same graham crackers that Once Again uses in their gluten-free Graham Cracker Sandwiches.

8. Sambazon Energy Drinks - This superfood company came out with an energy drink that is awesome. I tried the delicious drink before I went running and it gave me amazing energy. One sip and I was hooked on them.

The Sambazon Energy Drinks contain the superfood acai and natural caffeine that is equal to 2 shots of espresso. The drinks are vegan and gluten-free. Sambazon makes its energy drinks in regular and low-calorie versions.

9. Fillos Walking Tamales and Beans - My family loves tamales and beans for meals but I don't always have the time to make them. So I love that Fillos makes authentic ready-to-eat tamales and beans so my family can enjoy them for quick meals.

Tamales are a staple in this New Mexico home and we usually buy our tamales frozen. The downside to making great tamales is how long they take to cook, 4-6 hours in a slow cooker. So when I discovered Fillios Walking Tamales, I thought they would not taste the same but I was wrong. This brand knows about tamales and they taste so good. The best part about these shelf-stable tamales is they are vegan and gluten-free. They only require 35 seconds of cooking time in the microwave.

10. Biobag Kitchen Compost Bin - I used to stop composting my kitchen scraps in the winter as my kitchen compost bin would get nasty in the winter. Since it was cold outside, I would not empty the bin that often. So the food scraps would get moldy.

I now have a Biobag Kitchen Counter Food Scrap Bin and Compostable Bag Kit in my kitchen and I love the better way to collect food scraps. This compost bin allows the food scraps to dry out and that means no mold is growing in my home.  I am glad that I took the train to Expo West as this breathable compost bin did not fit in my suitcase. I was able to pack it in my Foldie Bag and take it on the train.

So many other fantastic products

These are just some of the many products that I loved but there are so many more products that made my list of favorites. I came home with so many great samples, since there were 3000 brands to explore, and will be making another Expo West post in the future. As I try the other natural products, I know that many of them will be ones that I will purchase in the future.

So look for a future Expo West favorite products article

How were the Goodie crackers? They look good and graham crackers. Wouldn’t mind trying them as almost all foods are processed.

We love the Gimme seaweed. We eat it all the time as is, or with rice. So healthy! I am not familiar with the others, and I'll have to check out some of those products.

All of those products look pretty awesome! But I am very interested in the energy drink. Is there a place we can find them?
