The Last Supper Is A Movie That Christ Followers Must Watch

Many thanks to Pinnacle Peak Pictures for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.

Don't miss the chance to start your Easter season with a refreshed reverence for Jesus' love and sacrifice for you, as experienced by those who walked beside Jesus Christ!

The last days of Jesus's time on earth were filled with trouble, sorrow, and darkness. Jesus had come to earth to fulfill God's promise of redemption and grace but it came at a cost. While many people loved Jesus, there were many who did not.

The movie The Last Supper reimagines the moments of those days leading up to Jesus dying on the cross. This is a movie that offers a human view of the moments that led up to Jesus being persecuted. While it is a tough movie to watch it helps one understand the redemption and grace that we received. It helps us understand the gift that we received from God when Jesus died and rose again.

The Last Supper embarks on an extraordinary cinematic journey where a timeless story comes to life. Our faith will find new depth and we will refreshed to celebrate Easter with a whole new perspective.

A tough movie to watch

I had the privilege to view The Last Supper before it came to the movie theaters. This movie was hard to watch and I truthfully did not want to watch it. This movie is filled with so much darkness. The movie shows Jesus and the disciples eating their last meal together. The movie reimagines how Jesus must have felt, knowing that he had to die. Since Jesus was fully human while on the earth, the movie shows His human side in those last hours.

The film also shows scenes of the Jewish religious leaders conspiring to arrest Jesus as well as the devil tempting Judas. While the last days leading up to Jesus being hung on the cross were filled with sadness, this movie helped me understand more about the love and grace that I received when I accepted Jesus into my life.

I urge you to watch The Last Supper with friends and family as it will help prepare your heart for Easter Sunday. Since the movie has many dark and troubling scenes, I recommend this for those who are over the age of 13.
