No Boiling Baked Ziti With Spinach and Ragu

As moms, we are busy and sometimes don't have time to cook. I have a wonderful recipe for a baked pasta dish that requires no boiling and uses one bowl to make it in.  I was given a recipe and I added my own 'spin' to it that makes it unique and is now it is my "new tra-dish". This baked ziti dish is easy to make and the ingredients are simple. You probably have them in your pantry. The main ingredient is Ragu Old World Style Traditional Sauce along with uncooked pasta. I love this recipe as you don't have to boil the pasta. All the ingredients get mixed in a bowl and then placed in a dish to bake in the oven. It's that simple!

Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce is packed with 11 juicy tomatoes, making it richer, thicker and just taste better. The spinach adds extra veggies to this wonderful cheesy pasta dish making it a nutritious dish the whole family will enjoy.

No Boiling Baked Spinach Ziti

Ingredients:
1 jar (1 lb. 8 oz.) Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce
1 ½ cups water
1 container (15 oz.) ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz.)
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
16 ounces uncooked ziti pasta
12 ounces frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. Combine Ragú® Old World Style® Traditional Sauce with water in large bowl. Stir in ricotta cheese, thawed spinach, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese, then uncooked ziti. Combine ingredients until well mixed.
3. Evenly spoon ziti mixture into 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 55 minutes.
4. Remove foil and sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered an additional 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

I also made some garlic cheese biscuits to go with the meal but if you are press for time serve with some store bought garlic bread.

Looks yummy! We just actually made something similar with Ragu sauce this evening. I never thought about adding a vegetable in with the pasta. That's a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
