>U Mom Knows Best: Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan

Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan

I love when I get to test kitchen products as I get to combine my love of cooking with a product review. I love to cook and try new recipes so when I received the Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic nonstick frying pan to review on my blog, I already had a recipe in mind. Last week we had a bunch of people over for homemade Chinese and my husband made egg foo young. He made it in a wok but it was hard to make it in that pan and it stuck to the pan. So I wanted to put the Ozeri non-stick coating to the test.

I was in love with this pan right away as it was a cool green color and generous in size at 12 inches. The pan also comes in 8 and 10 inches.  The Ozeri Green Earth pan is unlike other ceramic cookware as it utilizes an ultra-safe ceramic coating which is 100% PFE and PFOA free. With the Green Earth Pan's ecozeri technology, even under high temperatures, such harmful toxic fumes are never released into the environment. The scratch-resistant, non stick pan is super easy to clean. I love that the pan has a magnetized base for rapid heat transfer and the handle is heat resistant so I don't get burned holding it.

I put the Ozeri Green Earth Smooth pan to the test and made my egg foo young in it. There was no egg sticking to the pan and my eggs did not burn. I loved how easy it was to fold the egg foo young over. The egg foo young had a wonderful golden brown color to it also. I doubled my recipe because I used a larger pan and was able to make two servings a one time.

Egg Foo Young

3 eggs beaten
2 oz bean sprouts
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
2 teaspoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Heat pan on medium high heat. Pour egg mixture into pan and cook for about 4 minutes. Then fold the egg omelet over. Cook the omelet on both sides until golden brown. You can add diced cook shrimp and a diced scallion for added taste. I did not have these on hand but would add them next time.

I made the sauce to put over the egg foo young with a cup of turkey gravy, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 teaspoon oyster sauce combined and heated.

"These opinions are my own. I was sent the above mentioned pan to review on my blog."

We eat a lot of eggs and can always use a good fryer! OI love the look and the benefits of this. I can see myself frying our eggs in this regularly.

Thanks for introducing me to what looks like a great product. I've tossed most of my Teflon pans out already because they started to look really nasty, so this pan would definitely solve a problem I have! Oh, and the price is nice too!
