Prevent Ingrown Toe Nails With The Toe Nail Nipper

My husband has no nail on his big toe on both feet. His feet look weird without nails on those big toes. The reason he has no nails on his big toes is because he had too many ingrown toe nails that led to infections. My husband was tired of dealing with infections from the ingrown toe nails so with the doctor’s advice, he had the nails removed.  My husband has no idea why his toe nails always became ingrown but the doctor thinks it is due to the way his nails grew and how my husband trimmed his nails. I also think some people are just prone to ingrown toe nails.

My husband's ugly big toe

I have discovered a tool that is great for preventing  ingrown nails and for trimming them too. The Toe Nail Nipper is also great for thick or deformed nails too. This tool may look like pliers, but actually has sharp blades that are curved to contour around the nails when you are trimming your nails. I found the Nipper easy to use and it gives my nails clean and smooth cuts. I like that the handle is long as it makes gripping the Nipper for better control. How many times have you used nail clippers and had them fly out of your hands as they were hard to control due to their size. That won’t happen with the nipper as the long handles will not slip in your hands. The Nipper is made with high quality stainless steel and comes with a cover to lock the sharp blades. I also found the Nipper easy to clean as I just used a wipe with alcohol on it.

Where was this awesome nail clipper at when my husband had ingrown toe nails? To think if my husband used this tool, he may have prevented those nasty infections and the removal of his toe nails. Do you have thick toe nails or have a tendency to get ingrown toe nails? Then you need to check out the Toe Nail Nipper. Click the below link to get more information.

Looks like a great product and very easy to use. Most of them are too short for me, so this would be great!

Looks like a neat product! I would give these a try, just because of the long handle. Thanks for sharing!

I cannot believe I clicked to read this post...I have a hard time looking at any picture of other people's feet and toes. I can see how the shape of the clippers can help prevent ingrown nails.

This is a very helpful tool. I need to keep this in my desk drawer. I always seem to wait till the last moment before I cut my nails. I like to prevent ingrown nails too.

Maybe this is something that happens to men more often, I'm not sure but my hubby has the same issue with ingrown toe nails. He had to get surgery for his toe because of this awhile back. I'll have to get this tool now, thanks!

When performing a "partial" chemical matrixectomy, a blade and nail splitter is used to cut out a portion of the nail. The blade and the nail splitter are applied to the end of the nail and gently pushed down through the nail plate to the cuticle. reference

Try not to pick, jab or rub with your nails and particularly abstain from opening soda pop jars with your nails. sabryna's website
