Get Healthy On National Coffee Day

In celebration of National Coffee Day on September 29, get an extra punch of health with your daily cup of coffee.

I received samples to facilitate this post

Most people start their day with a cup of coffee and for some their day does not start unless they have their coffee. For some people that cup of Joe is something that they need to wake up. While others, that delicious brew of coffee beans, is their daily treat. Whether you are addicted to the caffeine in coffee or just love the taste of coffee, coffee is a drink that you should include in your day.

Coffee, when drunk in moderation (2-3 cups a day), is a healthy drink. Coffee is loaded with antioxidants and has been shown to be good for you. I myself, love coffee for the brain-boosting, for energy for exercise, and for helping with my asthma symptoms. Yes, that hot cup of coffee is one of many ways to clear mucus from my lungs. When I am having an asthma attack, I will drink a cup of warm coffee as it helps opens my airways so I can breathe better.

Wake up and smell the coffee! National Coffee Day is Wednesday, September 29, 2021, and coffee is the drink of choice. This unofficial holiday is a global celebration of one of the best drinks in the world, and you are encouraged to drink coffee all day. Maybe not all day, but at least one or more cups of the amazing cup of Joe.

I love celebrating National Coffee Day with a cup of coffee. Last year, most had to celebrate National Coffee Day at home but this year I am celebrating this day with a healthy cup of coffee that is loaded with superfoods. That's right, I decided to up my healthy living by making my favorite drink even more healthy.

A cup of coffee that is good for cardiovascular health

In celebration of National Coffee Day on September 29, I’m excited to share BareOrganics Brew Cups, single-serve coffee pods that are fortified with beneficial superfoods and probiotics. These caffeine-filled cups of joe, are packed with an extra punch as they contain various enhancements from immunity support to mind-boosting benefits.

I got to sample the Cardio Care Coffee with Superfoods blend and it was a delicious cup of coffee. I loved that I was able to brew these coffee pods in my Keurig machine. That was a plus, since I got home late last night from my trip to Expo East in Philidelphia. These single-serve coffee pods were so easy to brew and I loved the added health benefits that I received. Cardio Care Coffee is a quality coffee that supports cardiovascular health. It has a base of Guatemalan coffee grounds from Arabica beans and contains cacao, cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger.

BareOrganics Brew also comes in three other healthy blends. I was not able to sample these coffee blends since they had mushrooms in them. Mushrooms are healthy but not for someone like me who has a mushroom allergy. The other coffee blends have other amazing superfoods in them that are great for your mind, immunity, and energy. Check out the delicious flavor notes of all these superfood coffees!

+ Cardio Care Coffee with Superfoods blend is a quality coffee that supports cardiovascular health. It has a base of Guatemalan coffee grounds from Arabica beans and contains cacao, cinnamon, turmeric, and ginger.

+ BareOrganics’ Focus Coffee with Superfoods blend is a medium roast coffee, also ground from Arabica beans. With mind-boosting ginseng, ashwagandha, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lion's mane to keep you laser-sharp.

+ Artisan-roasted Immunity Coffee with Superfoods blend is made from organic Honduran coffee beans giving it a profound flavor with citrus undertones. It provides ultimate immune system support from ginger root, zinc, maitake mushrooms, lemon peel, and vitamin C and D.

+ Energizing Coffee with Superfoods blend is fortified with revitalizing maca, guarana, cordyceps mushrooms, and schisandra to support a healthy energy boost. It is made with fair-trade medium roast coffee ground from Arabica beans for superior quality and taste.

Each flavor contains natural probiotics to support digestive health and their ingredients are all USDA Organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, and contain no harsh chemicals.

Add healthy sweetness and cream to your coffee

While we are on the subject of boosting our cup of coffee with health benefits with superfoods, make National Coffee Day the day that you switch out the sugar and milk in your morning coffee with a healthy sweetener and a superfood dairy-free milk powder.

So many people take a healthy cup of coffee and make it unhealthy by adding sugar and milk. So if you are looking to add sweetness to your coffee without sugar and creaminess without milk, you need to check out these organic coffee enhancement products that will add even more health to your daily coffee. These organic products will add fewer calories and carbs to your daily coffee drink.

+ Organic Coconut Palm Sugar ~ made from the sweet sap of the budding flowers on the coconut palm tree.  This delicious sweetener makes a great sugar substitute, as it is low on the glycemic index – meaning it won’t spike your blood sugar. Our coconut palm sugar is pure and extremely flavorful and fragrant and will appeal to lovers of maple syrup in particular.

+ Organic Coconut Powder ~ The milk of the coconut is an ancient tropical source of hydration and wholesome nutrition. Our powder comes from fresh, organic coconuts for that delicious island flavor. It easily turns into coconut milk or coconut cream with the simple addition of water. This is a great-tasting, long-lasting alternative to dairy milk, perfect for vegans or those who are lactose-intolerant. It makes a great coffee creamer and can be used in a favorite dessert recipe that calls for a coconut flavor.

Dairy-free and delicious

If you avoid dairy, then you are going to love the organic coconut milk powder. I love that I can use the coconut milk powder to make a pitcher of coconut milk for my coffee or I can just stir a scoop into my cup of coffee. This dairy-free milk powder will be great for traveling. I can also use the coconut milk powder to make coconut cream for my many vegan recipes, like my Homemade Vegan Coconut Whipped Cream.

The organic coconut palm sugar gave a great sweet taste to my coffee and I love the maple taste that is added to my drink of coffee. This sugar substitute will be awesome to use in so many recipes. I will be using the coconut palm sugar in my Simple Blueberry Pear Crisp. I just love that the container is so easy to reseal, unlike other packages of sweeteners. Both of the coffee enhancements are gluten-free, vegan, paleo-friendly, and non-GMO.

So this National Day of Coffee, make a switch to healthy with your daily cup of coffee. These single cups of coffee blends are so delicious and make adding a boost of health to your coffee so easy. The superfood coconut palm sweetener and dairy-free milk add healthy sweetness and deliciously creamy flavor. So enjoy your cup of coffee and celebrate National coffee day all day long!

I'm such a coffee lover so incorporating healthy stuff in my coffee, or buying coffee that boosts body health, is an easy decision for me.

Wow, I didn't know that there's a national coffee day celebration now. And this one is really like a healthy version of coffee variants.

I drink coffee every day, so I clearly love coffee. But I didn't know there was a national coffee holiday. That is so cool. Unfortunately I missed it for this year, but I will be marking it on my calendar for next year. Thanks!
