Easiest Way To Make Fruit Flavor Ice Tea

A hot summer day calls for a tall glass of ice tea. Discover a super easy ice tea recipe that requires no hot water.

Warm summer days call for a tall glass of cold ice tea. A cold glass of ice tea is so refreshing and it does a way better job of quenching my thirst than plain water. I am usually a water drinker but when the temperature heats up, water can get quite boring after I have had too many glasses. Living in the desert without air conditioning in my home makes the need for hydration and my daily water intake can be at least 15 glasses of water. So even more reason to mix up my liquid intake with herbal ice tea.

I used to make fruit-infused cold brew ice tea but the tea took too long to brew and the tea required several cups of fresh fruit. While the sliced fresh fruit gave the ice tea a fruity flavor, it was never enough flavor for me and I always had to add sugar to my glass of ice tea. That glass of ice tea was no longer a healthy summer drink.

Discover a healthy herbal fruit tea that is bursting with flavor

When the weather gets warm, I start drinking ice tea and 2 months ago I shared with my readers the perfect way to make a cup of tea. This article explained how to best brew hot and cold tea since the weather here was still cool in the evenings. Now that temperatures are over 100, I needed a way to make ice tea without hot water. The thought of even using the stove in this heat makes me hot.

So I discovered an amazing herbal fruit tea blend that makes ice tea with cold water. Adagio Tea has become my favorite place to buy tea. I am loving their herbal fruit tea blends for quick and easy iced tea. These herbal teas are made with real fruit and contain no caffeine. The fruit flavors of the herbal tea are intense with flavor, so I never feel the need to add sugar to my tea. I can fill my big glass jar with plenty of ice and tea and not have to worry about my health.

My favorite fruit tea flavors from Adagio are Pina Colada, Peach Bellini, and Berry Blast. The ice tea blends smell so good. I was drinking a huge glass of Pina Colada ice tea and my son could smell the pineapple and coconut while he was helping me with my new phone. My son picked up my glass and said "mom can I try some of your drink?" That one sip turned into him chugging down the rest of my iced tea. I am glad that it was super easy to make more.

Fruit Ice tea is
+ Refreshing
+ Loaded with vitamin C
+ Full of antioxidants

The Airtight Cold-Brew Pitcher makes ice tea quick and easy

My recipe for quick and easy ice tea is super simple. Grab your favorite flavor of herbal tea from Adagio. They have 45 flavors of herbal tea to select from. Then grab a tall pitcher with an infuser basket. Fill the infuser basket with the herbal tea blend of your choice and add cold water. Place the pitcher in the fridge for 12 - 24 hours. Pour the tea over ice and enjoy the best ice tea ever!

Make sure to make several batches of different flavors of ice tea. On a hot summer day, my family can drink a lot of iced tea. Adagio has these innovative lay-flat Airtight Pitchers that lie flat to save space in your fridge. So, there is always room for iced tea in a full fridge. These cool iced tea pitchers are only $29 each and come in five colors.

The snug-fitting lid and flat body allow the pitcher to lay sideways, saving fridge space, with no worry of leaks or spills. The Airtight Pitcher is 68oz in size, dishwasher safe, BPA-free, and easy to use. That means you get eight glasses worth of freshly-brewed tea that's brimming with superior flavor and tantalizing aroma.

Make sure to buy several of the Cold-Brew Pitchers as these unique lay flat pitchers are also perfect for making cold brew coffee. Get a super easy cold brew coffee recipe here! You can also place fresh fruit in the infuser basket and make fruit-infused water. I love strawberry-flavored water on a hot summer day.
