My boys and went to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta today. This a fun event where there are over 500 hot air balloons from around the country. Visitors can get up close to the balloons as they inflate and then watch the balloons go up in a mass ascension. You can even ride in a balloon by being a part of a chase crew or if you pay the big bucks. There is so much more to see at this event beyond the balloons. They have lots of booths with food and fun activities. I took some pictures of some of the booths my boys and I visited.

My boys got to golf for a prize.
Jelly Belly gave out samples of their jelly beans.

Tomorrow we will be going to the balloon fiesta at night. We will be seeing a balloon glow. This is where all the balloons stay tethered on the ground but use their flame to glow in the dark. It is a must see event. Check out their website for more information.

This looks like a ton of fun! We had a balloon festival locally a few weeks ago but we didn't get to go.
